  • Hypocritical Left Wing Jewish Leaders Demand Ambassador Leiter Voice Opposition To Anti-Israel J St. With “Humility & Respect For Dignity Of Every Jew” | sun-times

Hypocritical Left Wing Jewish Leaders Demand Ambassador Leiter Voice Opposition To Anti-Israel J St. With “Humility & Respect For Dignity Of Every Jew” Jewish Connection News Jun 18, 2026 Zionist Organization Of America (ZOA) National President Morton A. Klein Released The Following Statement: After Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Rabbi Dr. Yechiel Leiter legitimately and understandably condemned the “J Street Cancer” that lobbied to stop arms sales to Israel during wartime, far left wing, extremist, anti-Israel J Street wrote a letter, signed by left wing Jewish leaders, attacking Ambassador Leiter and hypocritically demanding that disagreements must be conducted with “humanity, humility and respect for the dignity of every Jew” and that “leaders on both sides of the ocean bear a heightened responsibility to lower the flames rather than fan them further.” That’s rich, considering how the Jewish leaders who signed J Street’s letter — such as Union of Reform Judaism (URJ) President Rick Jacobs, Reform’s David Saperstein, Ambassdaor Dan Kurtzer, Head of National Council for Jewish Women, T’ruah CEO Jill Jacobs, Americans for Peace Now (APN) and New Israel Fund (NIF) — have spent years targeting, falsely maligning, disrespecting, name-calling as racist, launching petitions, attempting to oust from the Conference of Presidents, attempting to censor, and fanning the flames of hatred towards ZOA and ZOA President Morton Klein. For example, Rabbi Rick Jacobs and other extreme left wing signatories, who years ago defended Black Lives Matter, went into full attack mode against ZOA and Mr. Klein, after Morton Klein legitimately and accurately pointed out that the Black Lives Matter/Movement for Black Lives (BLM/M4BL) organizations’ platform, Social Media, speeches and events promoted vicious anti-Israel, anti-Jewish blood libels and BDS; and that BLM/M4BL incited a violent antisemitic pogrom in Los Angeles and nationwide antisemitic Days of Rage; and met with and were affiliated with designated Terrorist Organization PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) and PFLP front groups; as well as being corrupt. Reform Leader Rick Jacobs, who led the campaign, didn’t simply (wrongly) defend and praise Black Lives Matter. Jacobs bellowed at a Conference of Presidents meeting that “Black Lives Matter is the civil rights movement of our time!” Jacobs and the other left wing signatories didn’t even try to engage in gentlemanly debate, or attempt to rationally debunk the reams of evidence that ZOA compiled, or “engage” with ZOA at all. Jacobs and the other left wing signatories never responded to Morton Klein with any of the “humanity, humility, and respect” that they now demand of Ambassador Leiter. Instead, URJ President Rick Jacobs and the Conservative movement’s Rabbi Blumenthal launched a campaign to smear and remove ZOA and Morton Klein from membership in the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. Rick Jacobs initiated a letter with 15 other groups (including other current J Street letter signatory groups) falsely accusing ZOA & ZOA President Morton Klein of “racism” and called for ostracizing ZOA because ZOA condemned BLM/M4BL’s vicious antisemitism and anti-Israelism. And after ZOA respectfully requested an apology from those who falsely maligned ZOA and Mr. Klein, only one individual (Stuart Appelbaum of the Jewish Labor Committee) had the decency to apologize. Notably, none of the other groups that defamed and wrongly attempted to oust ZOA have ever apologized. When Morton Klein recently asked one of the major signers for a “private” apology, he began to scream at Mort in front of Mort’s wife Rita to “get your face away from me.” We wonder, where was Rick Jacobs’ and his comrades’ “humanity, humility and respect” for other Jewish leaders and responsibility for “lowering the flames” then? In addition, signatories including New Israel Fund, a Reform Jewish group, and J Street launched a petition to remove ZOA from the Boston JCRC, primarily because of ZOA’s condemnation of the anti-Israel group Black Lives Matter. NIF’s representative admitted that he spent 8 months attempting to dredge up dirt to throw at ZOA for the petition. That’s “humanity, humility and respect”? ZOA had to waste precious time combating NIF’s, J Street’s, etc. phony charges and endure despicable attacks to successfully defeat their petition. Furthermore, J Street organized a misleading astroturf letter from supposed “student leaders,” which falsely attacked ZOA as “racist,” “bigoted,” “Islamophobic,” and called for the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations to oust and censure Conference Co-Founding Charter Member ZOA. ZOA’s analysis of the signatories uncovered that many were J Street officials and affiliates, or members of anti-Israel groups such as: SJP, JVP and J Street offshoot If Not Now. Where was J Street’s and its fellow travelers’ “humanity, humility, and respect” and “lowering the flames” when it wrongly attacked ZOA for pointing out dangers to the Jewish community then? Again, no apology for their defamatory charges. Notably, from the very outset, J Street targeted ZOA’s Morton Klein (showing him speaking and placing Mr. Klein in the middle of J Street’s infamous tic-tac-toe board of targets in J Street’s launch video) and targeted Christian Zionists such as Pastor John Hagee and Newt Gingrich (on the J Street target board’s other squares). J Street falsely accused these staunch Zionists of “blocking the path to peace,” and having “loud voices that don’t speak for you,” and condemned these Zionists for opposing pressuring Israel to give up her land to Palestinian terrorists. Where was J Street’s “humanity, humility and respect” and “lowering the temperature” when they falsely accused ZOA, Mort Klein and Christian Zionists of blocking peace, etc.? It’s clear that left wing leaders only demand “respect, humanity and humility … and lower the temperature” when people they agree with are attacked—not when people they disagree with are attacked. In fact, left wing leaders themselves brutally and regularly attack people whose policies they disagree with. ZOA has not been the only victim of J Street and its co-signers unrelenting, arrogant, duplicitous, disrespectful attacks and fanning the flames of hatred. J Street defames and damages the State of Israel, its people and its duly elected leaders in virtually every press release, speech, lobbying offensive and election funding operation – with no regard for “humanity, humility, respect” or “lowering the flames.” J Street’s recent campaigns to cut off arms sales to Israel – while Israel is in the middle of a seven-front existential war – is beyond the pale of any shred of decency or humanity towards Israel’s men, women and children. J Street’s and its comrades’ attack on Ambassador Leiter for telling the truth is also case-in-point – especially after Ambassador Leiter suffered the pain of losing his heroic son Major (Res.) Moshe Yedidyah, a physician and father of six young children, who died in battle defending the Jewish people in northern Gaza in November 2023. And we must not forget another major J Street signatory, Soros-funded T’ruah and its leader Jill Jacobs’ calls for halting weapons sales to Israel; and T’ruah’s vile campaign to defund and remove the tax exemption from the Central Fund of Israel (CFI). T’ruah’s campaign would prevent CFI from providing funds to 350 Israeli humanitarian charities dedicated to caring for and providing scholarships to special needs persons; providing nutrition; poverty relief; combating ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease); battered women shelters and other women’s assistance; helping Ethiopians and other vulnerable groups obtain jobs; helping bereaved mothers, fathers, widows, orphans and siblings who have lost loved ones to terror and other tragedies to rebuild their lives and create meaning out of suffering; providing chickens to the needy; a news agency which provides accurate information; aid for Israeli expellees from Gush Katif (in Gaza) who are still suffering; funds for purchasing land; security; medical organizations; humanitarian needs of soldiers; rabbinic training; and meals for the elderly in need. Where is T’ruah’s humanity? Sorely missing. Previous Next

Lauder Calls For Creation Of $1 Billion Global News Network - WJC President Says Israel Must Launch A 24/7 Global Communications Effort To Counter Misinformation And Defend Jewish Communities Worldwide Jewish Connection News Jun 18, 2026 Speaking At The Jerusalem Post 2026 New York Conference, Ronald S. Lauder, President Of The World Jewish Congress (WJC), Called For The Establishment Of A New Global News And Public Relations Operation Backed By A $1 Billion Budget And Supported Jointly By Israel And Jewish Communities Around The World. Lauder argued that while Israel has demonstrated exceptional military capabilities, it has failed to adequately compete in the battle for global public opinion. “Israel has been outstanding on the military front,” Lauder said. “But as good as it is militarily, that’s how bad it is on P.R. Israel cannot afford to ignore its public relations.” Calling the communications challenge one of Israel’s most urgent strategic priorities, Lauder urged the creation of a dedicated government operation staffed by experienced media and communications professionals. “There should be a completely new and vitally important government operation, with a new director - not just a political appointee, but someone who knows PR and news backwards and forwards,” he said. Lauder proposed that the initiative operate independently, in a dedicated facility, and function around the clock. “It should be in a separate building, and it should have a billion-dollar budget,” Lauder said. "it should be on day and night.” The World Jewish Congress president emphasized that funding for the effort should come not only from Israel, but also from Jewish communities worldwide. “Some of that billion dollars should come from Jews in the Diaspora,” Lauder said. “Diaspora Jews should partner with Israelis in this PR fight because in the end, it won’t just be protecting the Jewish state - it will be protecting the Jewish people worldwide.” Lauder argued that Israel’s response to misinformation and false narratives must become significantly more aggressive and coordinated. “Israel’s counterattack should be relentless as well,” he said. Questioning the current structure of Israel’s communications efforts, Lauder asked the audience: “Who is in charge of Israel’s P.R.? Can anyone tell me? The answer is really no one.” Lauder’s proposal represents a call for a major new investment in Israel’s global communications capabilities and a new partnership between Israel and Jewish communities worldwide to strengthen the country’s voice on the international stage. • The Royal Bris Throne | sun-times

The Royal Bris Throne By Rabbi Moishe Kievman - Chabad Chayil Jun 18, 2026 A Central Custom Of Every Bris (Brit Milah) Is The Use Of The Chair Of Elijah (Kisei Shel Eliyahu). Jewish Tradition Teaches That The Prophet Elijah Attends Every Bris Milah As A Witness To The Eternal Covenant Between The Am Yisrael And Hashem. Before The Ceremony Begins, The Baby Is Placed Upon This Special Chair, Adding Sanctity And Spiritual Significance To The Mitzvah. For centuries, Jewish communities have honored this tradition by preparing a distinguished seat in honor of Elijah the Prophet. Truthfully, most Bris Milahs — including my own — were performed using a regular chair that was simply designated as the Chair of Elijah for the duration of the Bris, and that is absolutely proper and meaningful. At the same time, Judaism teaches us the value of beautifying a mitzvah. If we have the opportunity to honor Elijah the Prophet and elevate this sacred moment with something beautiful, majestic, and dignified, why not do it in the most special way possible? The Sandek and The Royal Throne One of the greatest honors at a Bris Milah is serving as the Sandek — the person who holds the baby during the Bris itself. The role of the Sandek is considered an especially meaningful mitzvah and is often compared to offering the sacred incense in the Holy Temple. The Royal Bris Throne provides an elegant and distinguished seat for the Sandek, giving proper honor to both the mitzvah and the individual chosen for this cherished role. The grandeur of the chair adds beauty and significance to the ceremony while creating a memorable experience for family and guests alike. A Beautiful Tradition at Chabad Chayil Every Bris Milah is a moment filled with holiness, emotion, and generations of Jewish tradition. At Chabad Chayil, families now have the opportunity to celebrate this sacred mitzvah with our magnificent Royal Bris Throne — a breathtaking Chair of Elijah designed to bring beauty, dignity, and meaning to the occasion. We’ve been working on getting such a chair for quite a few years, and with Hashem’s help we finally found the right craftsman to pull it off. Crafted with regal elegance, the custom made unique throne features luxurious gold detailing, a grand high-back design, and royal craftsmanship that transforms any Bris ceremony into an unforgettable experience. More than just a chair, it serves as a powerful symbol of tradition and spirituality at one of the most meaningful moments in Jewish life. Available for Your Simcha The Royal Bris Throne is available for families celebrating at Chabad Chayil, and can also be rented for Bris ceremonies held at homes, banquet halls, or synagogues throughout the community. Whether used for an intimate family gathering or a grand celebration, the throne creates a stunning centerpiece and a memorable backdrop for cherished photographs and lifelong memories. At Chabad Chayil, we are proud to help families celebrate this sacred milestone with beauty, warmth, and tradition. • Representative Randy Fine At Jerusalem Post New York Conference: "The Democratic Party Is Embracing Antisemitism" | sun-times

Representative Randy Fine At Jerusalem Post New York Conference: "The Democratic Party Is Embracing Antisemitism" Jewish Connection News Jun 18, 2026 Congressman Randy Fine (R-FL) Delivered A Forceful Address At The Jerusalem Post 2026 New York Conference, Warning About Rising Antisemitism In The United States, Praising President Donald Trump's Support For Israel And The Jewish Community, And Calling On Jews To Stand Proudly And Fight For Their Future. Fine, the first Jewish Republican ever elected to Congress from Florida, reflected on the challenges facing the Jewish people and emphasized the importance of strength and resilience in confronting antisemitism. "In the 3,000-year history of the Jewish people, those who have prospered the most have been those who have leaned into the fight," Fine said. "We are fortunate to have friends in that fight, and we have no greater friend than Donald J. Trump." The Florida congressman argued that American Jews have benefited significantly from Trump's leadership and contrasted the approaches of the two major political parties toward antisemitism. "Israel has never had a greater ally than President Trump, but American Jews have never had a greater ally than President Trump either," Fine said. "It is why, in the Republican Party, we are rooting out antisemitism, while in the Democratic Party they are embracing antisemitism." Addressing the threat posed by Iran, Fine described the Islamic Republic's decades-long hostility toward the United States and Israel and stressed the need to prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons. "We face the challenge of ensuring that Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon," he said. "Fortunately, we have a president who doesn't just make promises - he keeps them." Fine also spoke about what he described as the emergence of a new generation of Jews who are unafraid to stand up for themselves and their identity. "There is a new kind of Jew - the one who is not afraid, the one who is willing to fight," Fine said. "I can fight for you in Washington, but I am just one voice. We must stand up, and we must fight with all of our strength and all of our power." Concluding his remarks, Fine delivered a message of confidence and determination for Jewish communities in the United States and around the world. "We are here to stay. We are going nowhere," he said. "We are proud of who we are, and together we will ensure that the United States remains safe for Jews, that Israel remains strong, and that our days ahead will be greater than those behind us." • ZOA Philadelphia Director Steve Feldman Was Invited Speaker Before PA Human Relations Commission On Jew-Hatred | sun-times

ZOA Philadelphia Director Steve Feldman Was Invited Speaker Before PA Human Relations Commission On Jew-Hatred Jewish Connection News Jun 18, 2026 ZOA Philadelphia Region Director Steve Feldman Released The Following Message: The commonwealth of Pennsylvania is rife with anti-Jewish activity – including by government agencies and institutions. It is one of the reasons that we organized our 2025 Mission to Harrisburg. The most recent example occurred several weeks ago when the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission – which was established to fight discrimination – announced it was having an event that was thoroughly anti-Jewish! See below for details. On Monday, May 18th, 2026 I addressed the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission during the public comment period of the Commission’s monthly meeting – by invitation. I was the only person from outside the Commission to address the meeting, which was attended by the Commission chairman, other commissioners, Commission officials and staff. I was invited to speak at the meeting by the Commission’s Director of Policy, Intergovernmental Affairs and Mediation, Alana Burman, after raising strong objection to a publicly announced and promoted severely anti-Jewish event the Commission was presenting later this month. The original title of the program was “How Anti-Muslim Hate and Fears of Antisemitism Prop Up [a] Pro-Israel Facade.” After apparent early negative feedback, the Commission changed the title, making it even worse, to: “How Antisemitism Is Exploited to Drive Islamophobia.” Both of the announced presenters/experts for this event are officials of the Southern Poverty Law Center, which is under federal indictment for allegedly funding hate groups, including anti-Jewish hate groups. Upon learning of this event, I did some fact-finding, including speaking with Commission insiders, and I had a heated conversation with a Commission official. My concerns, my passion and my own experience exposing and fighting Jew-hatred – which I related to the Commission official – apparently led her to invite me to address the Commission. When I was recognized, I began by introducing myself – I included my position at ZOA and my prior career – 44 years dedicated to identifying and fighting Jew-hatred. I noted also that ZOA is a 128-year-old educational and advocacy organization for the well-being of the Jewish community, and that we promote Israel and Zionism. I then asserted that there is a problem within the Commission due to the fact that this program was thought to be ok by leadership. I pointed out that Jew-hatred has nothing to do with anti-Islamic hatred, that anti-Jewish hatred is authentic and is not being weaponized for any purpose. I then proceeded to focus on the endemic anti-Jewish manifestations in public schools in the commonwealth – mentioning the ubiquitous displays of the PLO flag, and false claims against Israel, and the erasure of Jewish history and facts about Israel, Jewish history and Zionism – I included the false claims about “genocide” in Gaza. Chairman Jones interjected about “country” flags and I replied that it is not a country flag – that there is no “Palestine” and that the United States does not recognize “Palestine.” Jones then mentioned that there was a graffiti incident – antisemitic, anti-Muslim, anti-black — at a school in Roxborough, and that the Commission condemned it. I then interjected: “With all due respect commissioner, graffiti can be washed away in a minute” and that it was not done in the classroom. But what children are indoctrinated with day in and day out in the classroom where they are compelled to attend cannot be washed away so easily – and they will bring it with them when in their careers. It is a matter of current discrimination and future discrimination. To illustrate how bad the situation is for Jews in school, I mentioned the fourth-grader in the suburban school who stood up in class and said “I want to kill all the Jews.” Jones condemned that, and said that he is a City Councilman in Philadelphia, and he has a reputation as a “straight shooter.” I expressed interest in being in touch with him, and I called on the Commission to investigate the Jew-hatred in Pennsylvania’s schools. He said he would be in touch. Then there was a motion for adjournment and the meeting ended. Previous Next

  • Battling Bites: An Owner’s Survival Guide To Tick And Flea Season | sun-times

Battling Bites: An Owner’s Survival Guide To Tick And Flea Season South Florida Sun Times Jun 11, 2026 Fleas And Ticks Are Most Active During Warm, Humid Weather, Making Late Spring And Summer A Peak Time For These Pests To Wreak Havoc On The Comfort Of Pets And Owners Alike. Fortunately, There Are Many Preventative Measures Owners Take To Safeguard Their Pets Against An Invasion Of These Crawling Critters. Dr. Erin Ray, a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, offers tips for owners on choosing the best flea and tick preventive method for their pets. Unwelcome Arrivals For fleas and ticks to grow, seasonal conditions must be optimal for them to thrive in their environment. “Many ticks and fleas typically slow their development or retreat into microhabitats to survive colder temperatures,” Ray said. “As the weather warms, they resume their growth and reproduction, leading to increased encounters with humans and animals in warmer climates.” Among the more common prevention methods that can protect pets against flea and tick exposure are: pills, topical solutions and collars, as well as chewables, which often include the added benefit of protecting against heartworms and intestinal parasites. However, a new prevention option is also gaining popularity for dogs: an injectable treatment. “The injectable flea and tick control product — available solely for dogs — specifically targets the common flea and multiple species of ticks,” Ray said. “It is administered under the skin by a veterinarian and provides a slow, steady release of the active ingredient. After the injection, fleas and ticks must bite your pet and ingest the product in order for it to work.” This option is specifically labeled for dogs and puppies over 6 months of age, according to Ray. “Overall, the injectable treatment offers a convenient alternative that reduces the risk of missed doses and helps maintain continuous protection for your pet,” Ray said. “However, this product should be used with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurological conditions.” Choosing A Preventative When deciding which option is best for your pet, owners should properly research the products. “Each type comes with its own advantages and disadvantages — varying in safety, effectiveness, convenience, and cost,” Ray said. “However, not all products are created equal — some over-the-counter treatments can be toxic to cats and dogs, and even certain prescription products might not be the best choice for your pet.” In addition to a pet’s health, an owner’s schedule, financial means, or specific concerns may also influence the decision. “When it comes to prevention, topical treatments or medicated collars are commonly used methods,” Ray said. “However, extra care needs to be taken in households with children or adults with potential health concerns to ensure they don’t come into contact with these products after application. “In addition, when using a topical solution, be wary of the appropriate application areas — such as the nape of the neck or between the shoulder blades,” Ray said. “This can help prevent pets from licking the treatment off of themselves that could lead to potential toxicity.” If an owner determines a collar is the best course of action, it is vital to ensure that pets cannot chew through the product. Finally, when considering oral treatments, Ray notes that these may eliminate concerns related to bathing schedules and the risk of human exposure associated with topical products, oftentimes making them a safer and more hassle-free option for many households. “Oral flea and tick treatments offer great convenience for pet owners, especially those that combine protection against fleas, ticks, heartworms, and intestinal parasites in a single dose,” Ray said. “Many of the newer formulations are highly effective at controlling flea and tick populations on your pet. However, some oral products contain flavorings that may trigger allergies in sensitive animals.” These can also be more costly per dose, and certain medications should be avoided in pets with a history of neurological conditions. For the safest and most effective protection, it’s always best to consult your veterinarian before using any flea and tick product — including over-the-counter options — to ensure it is suited to your pet’s species and health needs. Environmental Considerations A pet’s environment is another important factor to consider during flea and tick season. “Where your pet lives and whether they travel can significantly influence their risk of encountering fleas and different species of ticks,” Ray said. “Additionally, certain activities or jobs — such as hunting dogs, outdoor cats, or pets living in wooded areas — can increase their exposure to these parasites.” Even pets that only go outside briefly for walks or bathroom breaks can still come into contact with fleas or ticks. Humans may also inadvertently bring these pests into the home on shoes, clothing, or other items. “Oftentimes, the environment needs to be managed for flea infestations,” Ray said. “Multiple life stages of the flea are oftentimes in furniture, cracks of floors, rugs, and where the animals spend most of their time.” Treating an environment may include: • Regular vacuuming • Washing bedding frequently • Treating surfaces of concern with appropriate products Taking multi-pronged preventive measures is essential in order to combat the population of these invaders. Eliminating fleas can take multiple weeks — or even months — to clear them all. “Please consult with a veterinary professional prior to using over-the-counter products in your house or yard to ensure appropriateness and safety for any humans or animals in the environment,” Ray said. Waiting until fleas and ticks are widespread can put a damper on the excitement for the summer season. To best protect pets, owners should take a proactive approach and choose a veterinarian-approved prevention plan so their pets can safely enjoy the sunny season. • U.S. 1 (Fort Lauderdale) Named Florida’s Most Passive-Aggressive Road | sun-times

U.S. 1 (Fort Lauderdale) Named Florida’s Most Passive-Aggressive Road South Florida Sun Times Jun 11, 2026 Some Roads Don’t Produce Full-Blown Road Rage; They Produce Something Pettier, Slower-Burning, And Arguably More Exhausting: Drivers Who Refuse To Let You Merge, Close The Gap When You Signal, Block Intersections To Avoid “Losing Their Place,” Sit Stubbornly In The Passing Lane, Or Pretend Not To See Vehicles Trying To Pull Out. American River Wellness, experts in return to duty support, wanted to explore the roads across America where everyday driving manners seem to disappear. The study surveyed 3,011 motorists to identify the routes most associated with passive-aggressive behavior behind the wheel, the places where commuting becomes a daily test of patience, where small acts of discourtesy stack up, and where drivers are left feeling more tense, irritated, and worn down long before they reach their destination. Nationally, the top 10 most passive-aggressive roads in America are: #1. Ventura Boulevard, Los Angeles, California Ventura Boulevard is where casual errands go to become psychological warfare. Between the coffee stops, studio traffic, school runs, delivery drivers, left turns, valet pull-ins, and people trying to slide out of tiny side streets, every block seems to ask drivers whether they can still behave like adults. The answer is not always encouraging. Gaps vanish the second someone signals. Cars creep forward to block exits. A driver will let three seconds of silence pass rather than make eye contact and wave someone through. It is not classic LA freeway rage. It is slower, smugger, and somehow more personal. #2. U.S. 1 (Federal Highway), Fort Lauderdale, Florida U.S. 1 through Fort Lauderdale has a tropical way of making everyone behave like they are guarding the last open table at brunch. Between beach traffic, drawbridge delays, condo entrances, restaurants, tourists, delivery vans, and locals trying to get somewhere before the next red light, the road creates constant little tests of patience. Drivers block exits, close gaps, creep forward at intersections, and act personally wounded when someone needs to change lanes. It is not always explosive. Often, it is worse: a slow, sunlit refusal to make anyone else’s day easier. #3. Central Avenue (Yonkers to White Plains Corridor), Westchester County, New York Central Avenue has the polished suburban impatience of a road where everyone is heading to a store, appointment, school pickup, or restaurant reservation, and nobody wants to be delayed by someone else’s turn signal. The corridor is packed with entrances, lights, plazas, side roads, and drivers making last-second lane decisions. Cars creep forward to block exits, gaps vanish without apology, and anyone trying to cross traffic can feel like they have asked for a personal favor. It is not dramatic New York driving. It is quieter, tidier, and somehow just as stubborn. #4. U.S. 280 through Mountain Brook, Homewood, Vestavia Hills, and Hoover, Alabama U.S. 280 has a special talent for turning normal drivers into tiny traffic accountants. Around Mountain Brook, Vestavia Hills, Inverness, Grandview, and Hoover, every gap feels guarded, every turn signal feels like a negotiation, and every side-road exit seems to come with a silent “not in front of me.” It is not dramatic enough to feel like road rage, which is exactly the point. The frustration builds slowly: shopping-center traffic, lane changes, brake lights, and drivers treating one car length as sacred personal property. #5. Route 17 through Paramus, Paramus, New Jersey Route 17 through Paramus has turned shopping traffic into a full-contact personality test. Between malls, jughandles, restaurant entrances, commuters, side roads, and drivers who know exactly which lane they should have been in half a mile ago, the corridor creates endless opportunities for petty road behavior. Cars block exits, gaps vanish at the first blink of a turn signal, and anyone trying to merge can feel like they are asking a personal favor from the entire county. It is not just impatience. It is the confident New Jersey art of making “not in front of me” look like a traffic strategy. #6. Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia Main Line, Pennsylvania Lancaster Avenue has a distinct Main Line way of making traffic feel quietly personal. Between college traffic, train stations, school runs, cafes, side streets, shoppers, and drivers who know exactly where they are going, every few blocks seems to produce another small test of patience. A car waits to pull out, and the lane rolls forward as if helping would set a dangerous precedent. A signal flashes, and the nearest gap tightens. It is not usually dramatic. It is composed, tidy, and very committed to making sure nobody slips in ahead without permission. #7. Rockville Pike, Montgomery County, Maryland Rockville Pike has a way of making even a basic errand feel like a competitive sport. Between shopping centers, office traffic, Metro stops, restaurants, medical appointments, and drivers constantly trying to slide in and out of side roads, the corridor produces endless small tests of courtesy. A signal goes on, and the gap disappears. Someone waits to leave a plaza, and the line inches forward just enough to block them. It is not dramatic road rage. It is quieter than that of a polished, suburban refusal to let anyone gain even six feet without earning it. #8. North Avenue, Chicago, Illinois North Avenue has a gift for turning routine Chicago driving into a series of tiny grudges. Between neighborhood traffic, buses, cyclists, delivery trucks, shoppers, school traffic, and drivers trying to slip through before the next light, the road gives people constant chances to be generous. Plenty choose a strategy instead. Cars nose into crosswalks, block side streets, close gaps when someone signals, or sit just close enough to make a merge feel personal. It is not the expressway version of bad driving. It is more intimate than that, block by block, lane by lane, with everyone pretending they are simply “keeping traffic moving.” #9. Route 1 (Boston Post Road) through Guilford and Madison, Guilford and Madison, Connecticut Route 1 along the shoreline has that deceptively pleasant New England quality: charming storefronts, beach traffic, school runs, weekend visitors, and just enough congestion to make everyone faintly resentful. The passive-aggression is subtle but steady. A driver trying to turn out of a plaza can wait while five cars pretend not to see them. Someone heading to the beach may block a side street rather than lose a spot in the crawl. A local stuck behind out-of-town plates may suddenly become allergic to courtesy. It is scenic enough to seem relaxed, but underneath it all, the gaps are guarded. #10. Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas Westheimer Road has the scale and stamina to turn a normal Houston errand into a long exercise in defensive patience. Between shopping centers, restaurants, office traffic, apartment exits, side streets, and drivers making sudden lane decisions across a very busy corridor, it creates endless chances for low-level road selfishness. A signal flashes, and the next gap disappears. A car waits to leave a plaza, and traffic rolls forward just enough to trap it. Nobody has to shout for the road to feel tense. Westheimer does passive-aggression across miles of bumper-to-bumper gridlock. 2 other Florida roads were also rated among the most passive-aggressive nationwide: #26. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa Dale Mabry Highway feels like Tampa’s long-running argument over who deserves the next car length. It has stadium traffic, shopping plazas, school traffic, restaurants, commuters, and drivers making sudden decisions across multiple lanes, which gives passive-aggression plenty of room to breathe. Someone signals, and the gap disappears. Someone waits to exit a plaza, and the line inches forward just enough to block them. A driver sits in the wrong lane until the last second, then expects mercy from people who have already decided they are fresh out. Dale Mabry is not just busy. It is petty by design. #58. Sand Lake Road, Orlando Sand Lake Road has the perfect recipe for low-level Florida traffic drama: tourists, restaurant rows, theme-park spillover, rideshares, hotel traffic, rental cars, and locals who are deeply tired of all of the above. The passive-aggression is rarely subtle in feeling, even when it is subtle in action. Cars hover in blind spots, block plaza exits, refuse to let confused visitors merge, or inch forward into intersections because losing one place in line would apparently ruin the evening. It is the sort of road where everyone knows someone is lost, and nobody is especially interested in helping. Interactive map showing the most passive aggressive routes in the country: https://americanriverwellnessrecovery.com/passive-aggressive-drivers/ The survey also explored the everyday behaviors Floridians associate most with passive-aggressive driving, and many of the results pointed less toward outright recklessness and more toward small, deliberate acts of selfishness. The most commonly reported behavior was drivers cutting across lanes at the last second, chosen by 23% of respondents. Close behind were motorists refusing to let cars pull out from side roads or parking lots (16%), followed by tailgating without overtaking (11%). Other commonly noticed behaviors included: • Drivers refusing to let others merge — 12% • Drivers deliberately slowing down after being passed — 9% • Drivers speeding up when someone signals — 8% • Drivers sitting stubbornly in the passing lane — 8% • Drivers pretending not to see another waiting driver — 6% • Drivers blocking intersections or entrances — 5% When asked where passive-aggressive driving happens most often, merge lanes and lane-drop areas dominated the results, with 26% of respondents saying these spots bring out the worst behavior in motorists. Busy downtown streets, suburban commuter roads, and shopping corridors each received 13%, while roads near malls and retail parks followed closely behind at 12%. Smaller but still notable frustration zones included: • Parking lots and plaza entrances — 7% • Construction zones — 5% • Beach or tourist roads — 4% • School pickup and drop-off areas — 3% • College-town roads — 3% Emotionally, many drivers said the experience lingered long after the actual interaction ended. While 33% said they were “annoyed but got over it quickly,” a significant share reported more lasting effects. • 15% said passive-aggressive driving leaves them anxious or tense behind the wheel • 15% said it makes them angry, even if they do not outwardly react • 12% said it makes them drive more defensively • 9% said it leaves them exhausted by the end of the trip • 9% admitted it makes them more impatient with themselves • 7% said the stress stays with them for the rest of the drive The survey also asked Floridians which drivers they believe are most likely to behave passively-aggressively on the road. Young drivers topped the list at 32%, followed by daily commuters at 22%. Truckers who participated in the survey said one of the biggest misunderstandings ordinary motorists have is just how dangerous it is to cut in front of large vehicles. Twenty percent said drivers underestimate how risky this behavior can be, while 18% pointed to widespread misunderstanding around truck blind spots.
