With The Opening Of A New Location, The Missing Peace® Expands Its Mission To Support Children And Young Adults -And The Families Who Love Them - Through Every Stage Of Development.
Families in Aventura and the surrounding communities now have greater access to specialized care, as The Missing Peace®, a trusted provider of speech therapy, occupational therapy, behavioral services, and educational services for children, proudly announces the opening of its second center in Spring 2026.
The new facility, located at 17071 West Dixie Highway, Bay #4, North Miami Beach, FL, offers comprehensive therapy programs that support children’s developmental, speech, and motor skills in a nurturing and engaging environment. Building on the success of its Miami Shores location, this next phase reflects the organization’s continued commitment to helping children reach their full potential through personalized, evidence-based care.
The decision to expand into the Aventura area is a direct response to the growing need for high-quality behavioral and developmental services in Northeast Miami-Dade. As one of South Florida’s most vibrant, family-oriented communities, Aventura is an ideal setting to extend The Missing Peace®’s reach and impact.
The new center increases the organization’s ability to serve more families while maintaining the individualized, compassionate approach that has defined The Missing Peace® since its founding. It also creates new opportunities for therapists, educators, and support staff, further strengthening its connection to the local community.
As Aventura continues to grow, The Missing Peace® fits seamlessly, offering families not just services, but also hope, empowerment, and a sense of belonging.
For parents, The Missing Peace® offers more than therapy - it offers partnership.
“Our goal has always been to provide children with the tools they need to succeed, both in and out of the therapy room,” said Jennifer Rapp, Founder of The Missing Peace®. “Opening a second center allows us to reach more families and continue delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a convenient and accessible location.”
From the moment families walk through the doors, the center is designed to feel like “Peace.” Therapy rooms are thoughtfully arranged to feel inviting rather than clinical, and learning spaces encourage curiosity, comfort, and connection.
The new center features educational spaces, a sensory-friendly gymnasium, and a team of highly trained specialists in speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, behavioral services, and educational services. Programs are tailored to each child’s unique needs, with individualized and group sessions focused on building independence, confidence, and essential life skills.
By offering multiple services under one roof, The Missing Peace® helps families avoid fragmented care and instead experience coordinated, consistent support. As children grow, their services evolve with them - whether they are just beginning early intervention or preparing for the transition into young adulthood.
Since opening its first location in Miami Shores in 2020, The Missing Peace® has served more than 500 clients and continues to grow alongside the families it supports. The center serves children from birth through age 21, addressing a wide range of developmental needs.
Parents are invited to visit the new facility, meet the team, and learn more about available programs and classes.
As The Missing Peace® continues to grow, its mission remains the same: to be a steady, supportive presence for families navigating complex journeys, and to help every child build the confidence, tools, and opportunities they need to thrive.
