- Miracle Day Miami: Easter Sunday Resurrection Power - April 17, 2022
Miracle Day Miami: Easter Sunday Resurrection Power - April 17, 2022 By David L. Snelling March 18, 2022 Share This Easter Sunday Pastor Harris will be hosting Miracle Day Miami in Downtown Miami outside the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st Ave at 10am Pastor Harris: The Mystical Man who stands on the bedrock of faith in God. Divine Intervention Ministries. "Why was Jesus Christ so focused on healing those that were sick and physically challenged more than any other miracle he performed in his Earthly Ministry?" On this Easter Sunday Pastor Harris will be hosting Miracle Day Miami in Downtown Miami outside the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 Northwest 1st Avenue at 9:45 a.m. His mission is to demonstrate divine intervention through the power of prayer to freely help those who come believing that Jesus still works miracles, regardless of their illnesses or physical challenges, adults and children nothing is too hard/impossible for God, without faith it is impossible to please God! Pastor Harris said the purpose of this Easter event is to awaken and raise the power of Christ’s consciousness in others, his method is simple, Jesus Christ is the Lord and he desires to save every soul and heal all sick and disabled bodies, the age of miracles has not yet passed. Harris carries a firm belief that God chooses whomever he pleases as gifted instruments to heal others who believe and seek divine intervention. According to the Holy Bible, Jesus Christ commands us to preach the Gospel and to heal the sick. (Matthew 10:8) With no agenda other than to demonstrate the power of Jesus Christ to others in a unique and peculiar way, he stands on the bedrock of faith, that with God all things are possible even in a faithless world of skepticism and criticism. Our mission is to demonstrate events or effects in the physical world beyond or out of the ordinary course of things, deviating from the known laws of nature, through the power of prayer to help others connect with the divine will and purpose of God to be in good health, for the salvation of their souls and for the glory of God. Harris, who has been an outreach minister for the past 17 years, saw first hand that miracles do happen through the power of prayer. Throughout his years as a Pastor, he has administered healing through Christ to help many individuals back to perfect health and wellbeing, some no longer taking medication, many currently living without any physical discomfort. He has learned to see things through the eyes of a mystic. Humbly, he carries out his divine mission amongst family/friends and colleagues in an unpublicized manner and continues to point others to Jesus Christ’s salvation, he said that salvation and spiritual healing is not for sale nor in contrast for financial gain. Harris never encourages anyone not to ever seek medical attention, however he hopes prayer for divine physical healing to be an option alongside modern medicine in the near future. Our mission is to open the first brick and mortar Divine Intervention Clinic in the USA in the near future, a place where miracles happen for those who come in faith. The paraplegic will walk, the deaf will hear, the dumb will speak, the blind will see and sicknesses will be healed in the name of Jesus Christ. Harris migrated from the West Indies to the USA at the age of 19, he registered with the United States Armed Forces Selected Services, he later migrated his immediate family to the USA and is a proud father of a son currently serving in the United States Marine Corp. and a daughter, who is a Veteran of the US Navy, he encourages his family that the American Dream is a reality that must be taken seriously through hard work, sacrifice and dedication. Harris said growing up in the countryside of the West Indies was a rough, tough and hard life. But through it all, his faith and spirituality kept him strong and courageous and focused, holding on to the highest mission in this life on Earth to fulfill his true divine purpose through Jesus Christ. Harris said he was divinely led to the busy Miami area location for this Miracle Day Event and pursued obtaining a permit from the City of Miami to hold the event. The building is next to a bus terminal, Metrorail, Metro Mover Stations and Downtown Miami is an easily accessible destination for people needing wheelchair access and there is plenty of Public/Street Parking. - Alleviate The Burden - Treating Type 1 Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease Has Now Changed
Alleviate The Burden - Treating Type 1 Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease Has Now Changed By Family Features December 19, 2024 Share While Diabetes gets a lot of attention, people with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) are frequently overlooked when drug companies develop new medications. "People with T1D and Chronic Kidney Disease, or CKD, face significantly higher risks of morbidity and mortality if they are unable to control their blood sugar levels," said Steve Edelman, MD, an Endocrinologist and the Founder and Director of Taking Control Of Your Diabetes, a Not-For-Profit Organization dedicated to educating and motivating people living with Diabetes. "They are challenged to do this relying solely on Insulin, which is extremely difficult and is the principal therapy for people with T1D." An estimated 1.7 million adult Americans have T1D, with approximately 21%, or 360,000, also affected by CKD, according to the CDC National Diabetes Statistics Report 2024. Without effective Glycemic Control (managing Blood Sugar) and other important preventative measures, patients with T1D are at a 10 times higher risk of Cardiovascular Disease, a six-fold greater risk of progression to End-Stage Kidney Disease, a four times greater risk of Heart Failure and a 2-5 times greater risk of all-cause mortality. Consider this information to better understand the challenges and risks of complications these patients face. Challenges with Current Treatments Impact Patients' Ability to Reach Glycemic Goals Diabetes management aims to reduce the risks of Cardiovascular Disease, Kidney Failure, Retinopathy, Neuropathy and other complications, in part by improving Glycemic Control while minimizing the risk of Hypoglycemia. Currently, Americans with T1D have limited therapeutic options, relying almost exclusively on Insulin. There are no oral agents to improve Glycemia in adults with T1D. Despite advances in Insulin therapy and Glucose monitoring, most people with T1D do not meet Glycemic Control target levels with Insulin alone. One measure of Glycemic Control is a number known as A1C, which is a measure of Glucose Control over the past 2-3 months. The goal is to help patients achieve the guideline-recommended target of an A1C below 7% and improve their time-in-range, which represents an established metric that translates into clinically meaningful benefits for patients. Reaching Glycemic Goals Are Key to Reducing Risk of Further Complications By achieving Glycemic Control, Kidney Function can be stabilized, long-term disease progression mitigated and the morbidity and mortality that the cardiorenal burden puts on patients with T1D and CKD reduced. Today, it is estimated only 23% of people with T1D achieve an A1C of less than 7%, according to research from the American Diabetes Association, and about 50% have an A1C greater than 8%. Patients who do not achieve A1C targets remain at significantly greater risk of complications associated with their condition. "Relying solely on Insulin can negatively affect a patient's Glucose Control and quality of life," said Dr. Edelman. "Doctors and patients need an oral agent to improve Glycemic Control in people with T1D and CKD. Therefore, we need therapeutic options that improve Glycemic Control and reduce their risk of Kidney Disease progression and Cardiovascular Comorbidities." Visit: https://tcoyd.org/ - to learn more about living with T1D and advocating for additional therapeutic options. < Previous News Next News >

- P.Pole Pizza in Hallandale Beach Offers Creative Twist on Best Pizza in Town
P.Pole Pizza in Hallandale Beach Offers Creative Twist on Best Pizza in Town April 24, 2022 Share The time-honored dish of pizza has an amazing twist in Hallandale Beach that is not to be missed. Created by a millennial, but loved by all ages is the trendy restaurant P.Pole Pizza. The beloved establishment puts your pizza passion to the test as you create your own pie to please your taste buds. This reimagined pizza chain is the answer to finding pies which cater to gluten free and organic tastes with a vast array of flavors and options. Opened in 2021 by franchise owner Anthony DiCarlo, the Hallandale Beach spot is P.Pole Pizza’s second location in the state of Florida. The original P.Pole Pizza in Coral Gables serves as a launching pad for the famous chain. It changed up the pizza industry with its rectangle-shaped servings and was all started by Parsons School of Design student, Giulia Carniato. Along with her father, Stefano Carniato, they revolutionized the way pies and slices were served. Customers from day one fell in love with the concept restaurant that is now expanding franchises across the USA. With three choices of dough, plus five sauces and over 50 toppings to choose from, you can enjoy mouthwatering pizza in mere minutes – two minutes and five seconds, to be exact. And to add to the deliciously fun element is that pizzas are shaped in the form of a skateboard because it bakes faster in their new, cutting-edge oven where temperatures can reach as high as 800 degrees. "It's all about the customers,” explains DiCarlo about giving customers the unique taste and look of pizza they crave. "Whatever they want on their pizzas, we got it for them." It’s like taking a blank canvas and making an edible Mona Lisa. From tomato to spicy tomato, as well as alfredo, pesto and barbeque, plus seven types of cheese, including a vegan option, you can keep coming back to make all the combos you are craving. Different dough offerings include standard, chia seed infused, and even cauliflower, their gluten free option for people with allergies or those watching their weight. And tasty toppings include pepperoni, cheese, fresh spinach, artichokes, broccoli, grilled onions, jalapeno, mushrooms, sweet peppers and anchovies, just to name a few. "Our pizzas are made fresh to order from scratch and are ready to eat in less than just three minutes. They’re served piping hot and delicious,” states DiCarlo. Additionally, P.Pole gives customers the option of selecting one of their signature pizzas which are also baked in just over two minutes. Scrumptious signature pizza options include the Ameri-can, Italian, Cuban, Veggie, Meat and Barbeque. And best of all you get healthy options that all ages will love. This is not your old-school pizzeria. This is the future of food that will only get bigger and better over time. Customers can also order on the restaurants' app and sign up for their rewards program. For every dollar spent, customers will earn a coin which accumulates over time so that pizza lovers can eventually use these coins towards purchases in the future. P.Pole Pizza has also announced that they will be offering their own delivery services in the near future, but for now, customers can get their creative creations delivered via Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub.
