Spring Break 2024 is on and the City of Hollywood is happy to welcome visitors from around the world to our beautiful City, Beach and Broadwalk. Your safety is our number one priority and the Hollywood Police Department will have an increased presence to help keep you safe. Here's a guide to help you make the most of your spring break and enjoy your stay safely and responsibly.
Here are a few things to remember while enjoying our beach: Secure all valuables, First Aid is available at all Lifeguard Stands, Bicycling on the Broadwalk is permitted within the designated bike path, Roller skating and rollerblading are permitted on the Broadwalk. Alcohol, plastics, glass bottles/containers are prohibited on our sandy beach, Coolers must be 36 inches or smaller, umbrellas, tents or canopies may not exceed 10 feet and must be spaced 10 feet apart, Fireworks, fires and barbecues are not permitted on the beach or Broadwalk and Single-use plastics and foam items and balloons are prohibited on the barrier island, and at City parks and facilities. Please choose reusable instead.
Dogs are not permitted on the Broadwalk, however they are welcome at Dog Beach or at any of our Dog Parks. Dog Beach is located between Custer and Pershing Streets on Hollywood Beach. For a list of Dog Parks, visit: https://www.hollywoodfl.org/318/Dog-Parks

The beautiful parks have something for everyone, starting with our beachfront Charnow Park on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk that features shaded seating, picnic pavilions, playground equipment and a splash fountain for the kids. Adjacent to Charnow Park are six public paddleball courts that have been a popular feature on Hollywood Beach since the 1930s.

After your beach day, hop on the Sun Shuttle and head to Downtown Hollywood for some food and fun! The Downtown Hollywood Entertainment District Downtown Hollywood features a wide selection of casual to fine dining restaurants, bars and pubs, arts galleries, murals and more. The ArtsPark at Young Circle in Downtown Hollywood features the free ArtsPark Friday Night Movie at 8:00 p.m. Additional events are planned weekly, so be sure to check the schedule at: http://fl-hollywood2.civicplus.com/calendar.aspx

ArtsPark Experience Free Concert
Remain In Light, the classic Talking Heads album, is revisited by Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew. The free concert Saturday, March 2nd will be produced by Rhythm Foundation which takes place at the ArtsPark in Downtown Hollywood on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. Bring a blanket or chair for lawn seating. Reminder – this venue is plastic & foam free. Single-use plastics are not allowed, including water bottles. Please bring refillable bottles.
