Celebrate Hispanic Heritage In Hollywood At ArtsPark On October 10th

The festival will showcase Hispanic culture through live music, dancing, cultural performances and entertainment highlighting traditions from countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. The celebration begins with the Parade of Nations from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by an afternoon and evening of performances on the ArtsPark stage.

Featured artists include headliner Melina Almodovar, “La Muñeca de la Salsa,” representing Puerto Rico; Lisett Morales, “La Mulata del Sabor,” representing Cuba; Juano “Tu Cantante,” representing Colombia; and Ysabella Eslava, representing Peru. The entertainment lineup also includes Sebastian Parejo, Mariachi Aventureros, Tambores Venezolanos Vino Tinto, Fabrizzio, Carnaval de Barranquilla Miami USA, YC Dance Studio and Ritmo Dance Studios. Nathalie Rodrigue from iHeartRadio will serve as the event’s emcee.

Local students will also take the stage throughout the festival, with performances from Hollywood Hills High School music students and Latin Dance Crew, Hollywood Academy of Arts and Science’s Hollywood Stars, Avant Garde Academy, Hollywood Hills Elementary, Driftwood Middle School, Apollo Middle School and Boulevard Heights Elementary.

Presented by the City of Hollywood in partnership with the Hispanic Affairs Council, Koffee Kult and La Casita Tropical, bring your family and friends and experience a celebration of music, dance, tradition and culture of Hollywood’s Hispanic community in the heart of Downtown Hollywood.
