New Downtown Hollywood Business Directory Connects Residents And Visitors With Local Businesses

Available through the City's Economic Development website: www.choosehollywoodfl.com, the directory serves as a centralized platform where users can browse local businesses and quickly access important information. Features include direct links to business websites, online ordering options, reservation platforms, and other tools that make it easier to support local establishments.

The directory was developed by the City's Economic Development team in collaboration with the Information Technology Department. The project is designed to improve digital access to Downtown businesses while increasing visibility for merchants, restaurants, service providers, and other establishments that contribute to the area's vibrant business community.

Future enhancements are already being planned, including a self-service feature that will allow business owners to submit and manage their own listings. The addition is expected to help keep information current while expanding participation among Downtown businesses.

Storytime in the Park

Join us throughout Hollywood’s District 6, Friday, June 12th, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Zinkil Park, 5451 Washington Street, Hollywood, Florida 33021 for monthly storytime events with surprise guest readers! Each child will receive a free book to take home, courtesy of the Children’s Services Council and Broward Reads.

Parents and caregivers are welcome to bring a lawn chair. Blankets will be provided for children to sit and enjoy the stories comfortably.
