Hollywood Beach Golf Club Tees Off On A New Era

The City Of Hollywood Will Celebrate The Grand Reopening Of The Newly Redesigned Hollywood Beach Golf Course And Clubhouse, Marking An Exciting New Chapter For One Of The Community’s Most Treasured Landmarks.
Originally opened in 1922, the historic course has undergone a complete transformation. What began as a General Obligation Bond-funded effort to restore a classic has evolved into a premier golf destination that blends Hollywood’s character with modern enhancements.
Golfers will find a fully reimagined course featuring new tees, fairways and bunkers designed to provide a rewarding challenge for players of all skill levels. Behind the scenes, upgraded stormwater systems and improved cart paths will help maintain optimal playing conditions throughout the year.
The project also includes a brand-new clubhouse overlooking the greens. The expanded facility offers a welcoming space for tournaments, meetings and special events, as well as a place to relax and enjoy a meal after a round of golf.
The community is invited to attend the official Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at 1645 Polk Street, Hollywood, Florida 33020.
Art in the Atrium
On Saturday, April 18th, 2026, creativity takes center stage in Hollywood with a full day of art, culture, and community celebration, Art in the Atrium.
The festivities begin at 11:00 a.m. with Art in the Atrium at the Fred Lippman Multi-Purpose Center on, located at 2030 Polk Street, Hollywood, Florida 33020. Running until 6:00 p.m., this free Arts & Crafts Fair invites creatives of all ages to showcase their talents and connect with fellow artists. Visitors can browse handmade goods, discover unique pieces, and experience a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
As evening falls, the energy shifts downtown for the vibrant Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Streets come alive with an eclectic mix of galleries, artisan vendors, and live performances. Highlights include an Artisan Market, interactive Chalk Art, and a guided Mural Tour beginning at 6:00 p.m., offering a closer look at the city’s colorful public art.
At 7:00 p.m., a Gallery Tour provides deeper insight into local exhibitions, followed by a Magic Show at 9:00 p.m. Throughout the night, live music fills the air, creating a lively backdrop for exploration.
