Autumn Is Here: The Time When Many Americans In Frost-Belt States Are Wearing Sweaters And Seeing More Orange Pumpkins On The Ground And Less Green Leaves On The Trees.
Fall is also when pumpkins are commonly seen on dining room tables, windowsills, storefronts, porches, and front lawns. And during October, churches and other institutions across the nation host pumpkin patches and fall festivals.
Note, South Florida doesn’t have the colorful fall foliage seen on trees and on the ground that many people find up North; but nevertheless, several cities and churches in Broward and Miami-Dade counties are launching autumn-themed events.
