Music has long shaped Hallandale Beach’s history, and this concert series brings the City’s historic music roots to life. As the City began making its mark on South Florida, its music and entertainment scene flourished through iconic venues such as the Palms Nightclub. Once considered an essential stop for artists touring the South, the club welcomed legendary performers including James Brown, Sam Cooke, Etta James, Marvin Gaye, and Ray Charles.
Through this collaboration, Hallandale Beach is celebrating the musical legacy that helped shape its first century while creating a new soundtrack for the next. Each secret concert will offer attendees a fresh way to experience the City, one unexpected space and unforgettable performance at a time.
