The next session at Founders Park Tennis Camp is scheduled for Week 9, from Monday, August 7th, 2023 to Friday, August 11th, 2023. Participants can look forward to engaging in thrilling Tennis Sessions from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Noon every weekday. Whether your child is an early riser or needs an extra nudge to start the day, this morning schedule is perfect for staying active and energized throughout the week.

The camp welcomes youngsters ages 6 to 17, ensuring a diverse and dynamic environment that fosters teamwork and camaraderie. Furthermore, participants will be grouped based on age and Skill Level, ensuring personalized attention from the Skilled Instructors of Nuñez Tennis Training.

One of the standout features of the Founders Park Tennis Camp is its team of experienced instructors led by Nuñez Tennis Training. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the sport, Colon E. Nuñez of Nuñez Tennis Training is passionate about helping young players reach their full potential. From mastering the fundamentals for beginners to refining advanced techniques for seasoned players, the coaching staff is committed to nurturing a love for Tennis while honing individual skills.

Nuñez Tennis Training

Colon E. Nuñez, originally from Ecuador and a U.S. Citizen, played on the ATP tour from 1974-1980. He played Davis Cup for Ecuador for seven consecutive years and at the conclusion of his ATP Career in 1980, served for eight years as the Director and Head Professional of the Legendary Harry Hopman International Tennis Academy in Largo, Florida. During that time Coach Nuñez also helped to open the Harry Hopman International Academy in Bologna, Italy.

Coach Nuñez has trained and worked with well-known Professional Tennis Players including six past Grand Slam Champions: Andrés Gómez, Michael Chang, Jim Courier, Mary Pearce, Paul McNamee and Peter McNamara, Nicolás Pereira, Nicolás Lapentti among many and continues to work with Current ATP/WTA Touring Professionals, Collegians, and others. Over the years, he has been involved in the coaching and development of over thirty-five thousand children utilizing his time proven methods.

For the past twenty years, Colon has successfully owned and operated Nuñez Tennis Training in Aventura. Coach Nuñez, with nearly forty years of professional experience, has provided Quality Tennis Instruction, Training, and services with his team of Certified Teaching Professionals.

A World-Class Coach, his teaching methods and Staff Development Programming have enabled him to create a team of certified USPTR and USPTA Teaching Professionals with the ability to generate positive teaching, coaching and playing experiences for all levels of players.
