Hollywood Residents - Stay Informed: Plan To Attend Important Upcoming Public Meetings

As part of the finalization of the City’s Stormwater Master Plan, the City of Hollywood Department of Public Utilities will be holding two public meetings to present the initial Stormwater Master Plan and provide an opportunity for those in attendance to ask questions and share feedback.
The first public meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 27th, 2023 at the Boulevard Heights Community Center, 6770 Garfield Street, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
The second meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Hollywood Beach Culture and Community Center, 1301 South Ocean Drive, Hollywood, Florida 33019. All are encouraged to attend.

Hurricane Preparedness Meeting With Guest Speaker Erik Salna
Don't miss the Hurricane Preparedness Community Meeting on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Hollywood City Hall at 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, Room 219, Hollywood, Florida 33020. During this meeting, City Staff and a guest speaker will discuss the upcoming Atlantic Hurricane Season, including the forecast, City operations and important safety information. The guest speaker will be Erik Salna, Associate Director for Education and Outreach at the International Hurricane Research Center at Florida International University.
As a reminder, City of Hollywood facilities parks are plastic and foam free. Single-use items, like plastic water bottles are prohibited on the inside City Hall and community centers.
Art in the Atrium
Come see Art in the Atrium at the Fred Lippman Multi-Purpose Center - 2030 Polk Street, Hollywood, Florida 33020 on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. All are encouraged to attend and meet the makers of the music, handmade arts and crafts and support those who create it. From beginner to professional, join artists and crafters displaying fine photography, jewelry, wood crafts, oil paintings, home décor and more at the community center’s outdoor atrium area. It will also feature live music from Musical Artist Morgan Minsk.
