Hollywood Invites All: To Celebrate at "Party on the J" International Festival & 21st Annual Groundhog Day on Hollywood Beach

Discover the Heart of Hollywood "Party on the J" is a special Centennial Celebration showcasing the diversity and creativity of Hollywood's west-central portion of the City. Attendees will enjoy live performances by talented musicians, savory bites from a variety of food vendors, and family-friendly art activities that everyone can enjoy.
Local businesses will also be featured, giving festival-goers the chance to explore and support unique shops and services in the area.

Entertainment Lineup - The festival will feature a dynamic lineup of live performances sure to captivate audiences of all ages:

• 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Miamibloco
• 2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Tropeofori Dance Group of St. George Greek Orthodox Church
• 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Julian Cifuentes and Band
• 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Sons of Mystro
• 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Chai Latte – Wrap up the day with a fresh and energetic musical set.

21st Annual Groundhog Day on Hollywood Beach
Revelers at Hollywood’s silliest annual event hit the beach in February, starting off Groundhog Day festivities with a hearty breakfast before taking their traditional ocean plunge at the same time weather forecasting groundhog Punxsutawney Phil predicts the end of winter in a live stream to Hollywood Beach. It must be time for the 21st Annual Groundhog Day on Hollywood Beach, a time-honored tradition celebrating hope for a warmer tomorrow – or at least a significant warm-up by noon. The event will take place on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 from 6:30-8:00 a.m. at Blue Wave Gastropub, located at 901 North Broadwalk (at A1A and Indiana Street) on the world-famous Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. The legendary Groundhog Swim will be at 7:30 a.m. A $15 donation includes breakfast from Chef Jorge and the Blue Wave team.

No Groundhog Day bash would be complete without a special appearance by Punxsutawney Phil and live coverage of Groundhog Day from Punxsutawney, PA., The Weather Capital of the World. The event culminates with some of the heartiest souls taking a traditional dip in the Atlantic Ocean, which can dip to 76 chilly degrees!. Children of all ages are welcome!
