Eurydice & The Play That Goes Wrong: Presented By Don Soffer Aventura High School Students

In a captivating double bill of drama and comedy, Don Soffer Aventura High School students perform Eurydice and The Play That Goes Wrong Wednesday, November 16 – November 18 at 7 p.m. Reimaging the classic myth through its young heroine’s eyes, the drama follows Eurydice who, after dying on her wedding day, must journey to the underworld where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love.

After intermission, comedy takes the stage in The Play That Goes Wrong, which features an unconscious leading lady, a corpse who can't play dead, a ruffled detective and a word-mangling butler who must battle against technical gaffes, forgotten lines and sabotaging scenery in a quest to arrive all in one piece at the final curtain call.

Ticketmaster is the only official ticketing service of the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. These performances are not recommended for children under four. Parking
Free parking is available in the lots adjacent to the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center in front of the Aventura Community Recreation Center and the Aventura City of Excellence School.

Valet service is available for most performances at $20 per vehicle. We accept major credit cards or mobile payment apps including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Valet parking is located at the main entrance of the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, in the circular drive. There is a convenient drop-off area in front of the building.
