Ahoy, Mateys! It’s Time for the City of Hollywood Cardboard Boat Race!

Join us this Saturday for the City of Hollywood’s Annual Cardboard Boat Race and watch more than 50 cardboard boat crews compete in their boats made entirely of cardboard! The race sets sail on Hollywood’s North Lake on Saturday, October 9 at 10 a.m. at the Hollywood Marina at 700 Polk Street.

Landlubbers will gather to cheer as the crews paddle in head-to-head competition for the coveted trophies in categories such as: “People’s Choice,” “Last Boat Sailing,” “Fastest Vessel,” “Most Creative Design” and “Most Spectacular Sinking.”
