Curated by James Beard Award-winning Chef Michelle Bernstein, the brunch menu blends traditional Latin and Caribbean staples with creative twists. Guests can start with Croquetas and Empanadas or choose from an array of small plates including the MI-AMI Parfait -- freshly made yogurt, seasonal fruit, and house granola; Smoked Fish Dip with saltines and celery leaves; Bourbon Glazed Pork Belly with pickled vegetables and Caesar Salad with romaine, gremolata croutons, and Parmesan. Main course highlights include Stuffed French Toast with guava and fresh cheese, warm maple, and oranges; Ricotta Pancakes served with house raspberry jam, lemon zest, and maple syrup; Huevos Rancheros with fried eggs, ranchero sauce, crispy tortilla, and avocado crema; Huevos Benedictos -- made with lechon, pan cubano, poached eggs, mojo de ajo hollandaise; and the signature La Cañita Burger made with two patties, American cheese, papitas, special sauce, and Fred’s pickles. For a sweet ending, look no further than Flan, Churros, and Tres Leches.
Known for its spirited rum culture and dynamic bar program, brunch at La Cañita will feature the concept’s vibrant lineup of expertly crafted cocktails. Standouts include a traditional Mojito made with four-year old Flor de Caña rum, lime, sugar, mint, soda, and bitters; Lychee Martini made with Grey Goose vodka, lychee liqueur, lime, sugar; Tropical Spritz mixed with Caimana, Aperol, Riesling wine, clementine, and lemon alongside brunch classics like Mimosas and Blood Mary’s.
For those opting for non-alcoholic options there are a wide variety of coffee, tea, juices, and mocktails. Signature mocktails include the Lima en el Coco with cranberry, coconut water, rosemary, lime, soda; Berry Farm featuring raspberry, lime, orange blossom, ginger beer; and Hamilton Margarita made with Almave non-alcoholic tequila, lime, salt and pepper.
