Hosted By The Department Of Parks, Recreation And Cultural Arts, This Popular Event Brings Together Families, Friends And Local Organizations For Some Friendly Competition On North Lake.
Think you have what it takes to build a boat out of cardboard and keep it afloat? Gather your crew, come up with a creative team name and design a vessel to race across the water. Teams will compete for trophies in categories including “People’s Choice,” “Fastest Vessel,” “Most Creative Design” and the crowd-favorite “Most Spectacular Sinking.” All boats must be built off-site in advance and follow the specifications provided in the registration packet.

Whether you're racing or watching from the sidelines, the Cardboard Boat Race promises plenty of fun and entertainment for all ages.
Registration is now open, and teams are encouraged to sign up! Pre-registration is required to compete. Register your team online. For more information, contact the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts at: (954) 921-3404. Or visit: www.hollywoodfl.org/specialevents.
