Community-Based Connections, Inc. (CBCI), A Not-For-Profit Organization Dedicated To Youth Development, Family Strengthening, And Community Empowerment, Welcomes The Public To Its A.D.A.M. (Awesome Dads, Awesome Men) Challenge Fatherhood Family Fun Day On Saturday, April 25th, 2026 From 12:00 p.m. Noon To 5:00 p.m. At Mitchell Moore Park, Located at 901 Northwest 10th Street, Pompano Beach, Florida 33060. The Free Event Is Designed To Celebrate Fatherhood, Strengthen Family Bonds, And Bring The Community Together Through High Energy Games, Prizes, Interactive Challenges, And Opportunities To Connect With Local Resources.

CBCI’s A.D.A.M. is a free fatherhood mentoring program funded by the Jim Moran Foundation. The program provides fathers with tools, support, and education to strengthen relationships, improve parenting, and enhance family stability. CBCI has delivered evidence-based programs for more than 16 years in Broward County to help families achieve long-term well-being. CBCI recently expanded its services into Palm Beach County with the opening of its Riviera Beach office and the completion of its first successful Fathers and Family Day on March 28th at Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary School.

“The A.D.A.M. Challenge Fatherhood Family Fun Day is all about honoring fathers and family engagement while creating a day of laughter, activity, and connection for the entire community,” said Mikelange Olbel, CEO of Community-Based Connections, Inc. “We are excited to bring families together in a fun, safe environment and provide access to resources that help families thrive.”

Attendees can look forward to tug-of-war, obstacle courses, basketball, three-legged relays, sack races, egg-and-spoon races, music, giveaways, prizes, food, and more. Local vendors and community organizations will also be on-site offering resources and support services to help families access opportunities for health, education, employment, mentoring, and family support. Speed Mob will be hosting a high-performance car display.

The A.D.A.M. Challenge Fatherhood Family Fun Day is made possible thanks to the generous support of its community partners and sponsors, including the A.D.A.M.
