St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival In Downtown Hollywood

Get ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Downtown Hollywood! As part of the City of Hollywood’s Centennial Celebration, the City and Hibernians of Hollywood are hosting the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival on Sunday, March 9th, from 12:00 p.m. Noon to 6:00 p.m. The highlight of the festivities, the parade, steps off at 1:00 p.m., traveling east along Hollywood Boulevard from 21st Avenue to Young Circle before making its return on Harrison Street.

Celebrate 100 years of Hollywood with this beloved annual tradition featuring colorful floats, local marching bands, and impressive bagpipe and drum corps, including the renowned New York Police Department Emerald Society Pipe and Drum Corps and Cleveland Police Pipe Band. Young festival-goers can enjoy the “Magic of the Emerald Isle” activity area at Mayor Peter Bober Centennial Park, featuring games and crafts for kids of all ages. Plus, with more than 80 vendor booths, there will be plenty of unique treasures to discover.


The entertainment lineup includes performances by Uproot Hootenanny and a headline show by U2 by UV – The U2 Concert Experience, taking the stage at 19th Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard.


Downtown Hollywood’s restaurants will join in the celebration with festival specials, serving up classic Irish fare like Corned Beef & Cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie and festive green drinks.


Event parking is available for $10 at Van Buren and Radius Garages. Please note: parking on the grass along 21st Avenue by the railroad tracks is prohibited. Parking is limited, so rideshare services are encouraged to make your visit more convenient.

Water Matters Day - March 8th


Stop by the City's Public Utilities booth at Tree Tops Park in Davie - 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to participate in interactive educational presentations about stormwater pollution prevention, learn what not to flush to prevent sewer system damage and more about our drinking water. Environmentally friendly giveaways will also go along with the presentations.
