Katherine Wong Named CFO For Memorial Regional & Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hopsitals

Katherine Wong, A Financial Leader With More Than Two Decades Of Healthcare Industry Experience, Has Been Named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) For Memorial Regional Hospital And Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. In That Role, She Will Provide Financial Oversight And Strategic/Operational Expertise To The Memorial Healthcare System Facilities.
Wong was previously CFO at Memorial Hospital West, a position she held since 2023.
“Memorial Healthcare System has a long history of serving the community with excellence, and I’m excited to continue to support that mission,” said Wong, who earned an MBA at Nova Southeastern University. “Strong financial leadership allows us to invest in our people, expand access and ensure we deliver high quality care to the patients and families that rely on us.”
Memorial Regional Hospital is a Level 1 trauma center equipped to manage the most critical emergency situations. The 863-bed facility is one of the largest in Florida and is currently undergoing a $670 Million Dollar expansion that will include a surgical (22 operating rooms) and patient bed tower (150 additional acuity-adaptable beds). Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is one of the nation’s leading pediatric hospitals, offering Level I Trauma Care and a comprehensive scope of healthcare services and programs in a caring, compassionate setting designed specifically for children.
Prior to joining Memorial, Wong was with HCA Healthcare, ultimately serving as CFO at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.
