Downtown Hollywood To Celebrate World Cup Final With Community Watch Party

Hollywood Boulevard between 19th Avenue and Young Circle will once again become a lively gathering place where fans can watch the championship match on giant video screens while enjoying food, entertainment and the vibrant atmosphere of Downtown Hollywood.

Festivities begin at noon, with the World Cup Final kicking off at 3 p.m. Before and after the match, there will be live music by Los Wizzards and DJ Carlos Sonic.

Visitors can also enjoy food trucks, retail vendors and special offerings from Downtown restaurants, shops and entertainment venues, creating a full day of family-friendly entertainment and community celebration.

Following the tremendous success of last month's watch party, the City is once again inviting soccer fans and the community to experience the excitement of the tournament's championship match together in the heart of Downtown Hollywood.

Admission is free. For safety and security, the event area will be fenced with designated entry points and security screenings on the north and south sides of 20th Avenue, as well as on Hollywood Boulevard at Young Circle (US-1). Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and gates will close if capacity is reached.

City-operated parking garages and the Taylor Street parking lot will offer $15 flat-rate parking. Free parking will also be available at City Hall, with complimentary shuttle service to and from Downtown from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early and allow extra time for parking and entry. Personal coolers, outside alcohol, pop-up tents, umbrellas, fireworks and weapons are not permitted within the event area.
