Yes, the countdown to Chanukah has begun, and with it, the anticipation for the 44th Annual Chanukah Festival taking place in Hollywood, Florida. But this year, it’s not just a festival; it’s a celebration of unity, music, and a noble cause. This year’s Chanukah Festival is a unity concert for Israel. Part of the proceeds from the event will go towards assisting families in Israel who have been affected by the war. The lineup for the 44th Chanukah Festival is spectacular! History Of The Chanukah Festival

Chanukah is publicly celebrated by millions of people worldwide each year - but it wasn't always this way.

In December of 1980, Chabad Of South Broward launched the Annual Chanukah Festival as the only Chanukah Event of its kind. There was nothing else like it! People of all backgrounds were blown away to see a display of Jewish pride and unity that was not only public, but open and proud.

It became an instant Annual South Florida tradition for people from across the state to flock to Hollywood, Florida to witness and be a part of the Chanukah Festival experience. A large percentage of the crowd were Holocaust Survivors and Immigrants from Eastern Europe who had survived attempts to wipe out Judaism entirely. The experience of lighting a Menorah in public was a tremendous source of Jewish pride for the entire South Florida and beyond. At the time, the 18-Foot Menorah was the largest Menorah in the entire state of Florida.

As the Chanukah Festival grew in leaps and bounds every year, it inspired more and more celebrations like it to take place across South Florida. And still, every year, it's the #1 Chanukah Event for the entire state to attend!
