The Parker: The Place For Entertainment This September

The Parker curtain rose for the first time on February 6th, 1967 and has seen thousands of performances over the decades. As one of Fort Lauderdale’s first venues, the Neo-Classical Playhouse, was built by Dr. Louis Parker and is managed now by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Some of today’s funniest comics and entertainers are coming to the Parker next month at Lillian S. Wells Hall, keeping the tradition of great performances going.

Saturday, September 10th, 2022, Eddie B.
School is back in session and it’s time for Grade A Comedy with Eddie B. “Teachers Only Tour” on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. Eddie B.’s uncensored, raw and hysterically realistic portrayal of a teacher’s hectic life has established him as the official voice of educators from America to Africa, Dallas to Dubai, New York to New Delhi and beyond. Having started his Comic Career with a series of videos titled "What Teachers Really Want to Say,” this Houston Native quickly developed a fan base before taking his videos to the stage selling out comedy clubs, theaters and arenas. He also delights fans with The Teachers Lounge with Eddie B. Podcast. This event contains content that is not suitable for children 12 years and under. Tickets are $47-$67.

Saturday, September 17th, 2022 Moein: Maandegar Tour
Nasrollah Moein born on January 19th, 1952 is known by Iranians Worldwide as the voice of love. Moein began his Artistic Career as a Radio Singer and has since released 26 Albums and 32 Singles. Throughout his Career, Moein has continued to produce hit after hit. Beloved Classics such as: Kabeh, Havas, Esfahan, Miparastam, Safar, Sobhet Bekhir, Bibigol and Paricheh have been enjoyed by Iranians everywhere. Yeki Ra Doost Midaram, produced in 1982, was his first Album to be widely noticed in Iran. That being said, in recent years, Moein’s popularity has surged Worldwide. So much so that he has had sold out Concerts in esteemed arenas including: Universal Amphitheatre, Dolby Theatre, Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Roy Thomson Hall & Sony Center in Toronto, Royal Albert Hall in London, Dubai Opera House in Dubai and many more. On Saturday, September 17th, 2022 Limitless Production Presents the Moein: Maandegar Tour at the Parker.

Friday, September 23rd, 2022 Zakir Khan
After two massively successful Specials, Haq Se Single (2017) and Kaksha Gyarvi (2021) and after selling out 100,000+ tickets across the globe, Zakir Khan is on the road once again with his latest stand up show. Zakir Khan has the ability to highlight comic elements in everyday life and is known for his “uniquely Indian” style of Comedy, which involves him impeccably catching on to the emotions that are common to every Indian household. Friday, September 30th, 2022 Trevor Wallace
The Broward Center for the Performing Arts and AEG Presents bring Trevor Wallace and his “Are You That Guy? Tour” to Lillian S. Wells Hall on Friday, September 30th, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Recognized in 2020 as a finalist for "Best in Comedy" at the Shorty Awards that recognize Social Media content providers, Wallace has built a digital thumbprint of over one billion views across his Social Media channels. He has also toured the U.S. performing at colleges and comedy clubs including two sold out nights at The Gramercy Theatre in New York as a part of the New York Comedy Festival. Wallace has been featured on Comedy Central, MTV, Barstool Sports, E! News, Business Insider, Buzzfeed, Complex, The L.A. Times, The New York Times, Ad Age and Men's Health to name a few. This event contains content that is not suitable for children 12 years and under.
