Nick Bollettieri started his now famous career at the North Miami Beach Tennis Center more than 40 years ago. In 2017, the City of North Miami Beach awarded the Operation of the Park to his son Jimmy Bollettieri, Greg Breunich, Gabe Jaramillo and Scott Del Mastro, the current Principal Owners of Club Med Academies in nearby Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Together they share a wealth of knowledge from their previous experience in running Renowned Academies and Parks including Flamingo Park in Miami, Florida, IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida, Nick Bollettieri Academy in Bradenton, Florida and International Tennis Academy in Delray Beach, Florida. They are now proud to be working together again to present their new Academy at the Judge Arthur Snyder Tennis Center in North Miami Beach.

Golden Isles Tennis Center
Golden Isles Tennis Center features 4 Clay and 6 Hard Tennis Courts, 4 Pickleball Courts, 2 Bocce Courts and 2 Basketball Courts with Sports Lighting, Site Parking, a Tennis Facility with Pro Shop, Restrooms, Offices, Concessions and a Multi-Purpose Room. In addition to a great facility, the Professionals on Staff are top notch.

Jesse Smatt is the Tennis Director, Co-Director Max Miller has extensive experience being a Tennis Coach. Working alongside some high level Coaches. He worked with High Performance ITF Juniors, ATP and WTA players traveling around Northern California, Florida and Europe. This helped him develop his unique approach to teaching the game. The Tennis Instructors on Staff are always available to assist you. Ned Azimov, entered Tennis Coaching back in 2015, fresh out of High School working beside his Team’s Head Coach. When he moved to Miami, he had been trained under a Club Med Academy Tennis Program. Supervised and mentored by some of the most Credentialed Coaches who have worked with ATP and ITF players their entire lifetime. Staying in that environment for over four years. Coach Ned is PTR Certified and has over 250 ITF Academy Certifications.

Instructor Leyla Azaeva is a Former Top Women's player in South Florida. She competed against top WTA players. After retiring from her Career she couldn’t stay away from Tennis and started Teaching. Putting together her experience of playing and working with top Coaches during her Career she has a lot to offer to any student at any level. She is USPTA Certified.

Alena Yurchenko is a Former Pro Tennis player and has been a Coach since 2018, she played the WTA Tour and competed against the best WTA players. Alena has also Coached in the World’s Top Tennis Academies in Spain and Turkey and is ITF Academy Certified.

The Center is open Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Noon and from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Saturdays & Sundays from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for Hallandale Beach Residents only. They are closed for Maintenance from 12:00 p.m. Noon - 3:00 p.m. each day. To book a Court, you can call the Office during Operational Hours to check for Court Availability At: (954) 534-9547. If Tennis isn't your thing or is just too physical for you, try Pickleball. It has less impact but still gives a great workout and experience, the Center has 4 Courts that are Available Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Noon.

Members can also book On-Line through the Web-site At: https://goldenislestenniscenter.com. When booking On-Line you must create an Account, choose a Court and select the time you wish to play. The Center has the right to move Court Reservations due to weather and Court Conditions, Programming, Tournaments, Leagues and Groups in order to facilitate play and accommodate players and teams. You cannot book for more than 1.5 hours and only one Court can be Reserved at a time.

Founders Park Tennis Courts
Founders Park Tennis Courts are Public Tennis Courts for Aventura Residents only, located in Founders Park, 3105 Northeast 190th Street, Aventura, Florida 33180. The Park is located just South of the Lehman Causeway and East of West Country Club Drive, Founders Park honors the visionary catalysts whose forethought led to the incorporation of the City of Aventura in November of 1995.

The 12-Acre Park is divided into two Regional Sections: North and South (Founders Park Bayside). The Northern Section of Founders Park features a Staffed Welcome Center; a Quarter-Mile, Four-Stationed, Exercise Trail; a completely renovated, age-appropriate and Handicap Accessible Playground; Sun Shelters; 2 Clay and 1 Hard Tennis Court, a Multipurpose, Open-Space, Athletic Field to accommodate Baseball, Softball, Football or Soccer. Additionally, the Founders ParkSplashPad, a Recreational Water Play Area is located inside of the Park.

If you are interested in visiting the courts, Reservations become available at noon for the following Day's Reservations. There is a set max Daily Reservation in order to allow fair opportunity to all Aventura Residents. The Park is closed on Tuesdays, Reservations are not available on that day and Court Maintenance is held daily from 12:00 p.m. Noon - 2:00 p.m.
