KIWANIS Club of Hollywood: Announces 2023 Scholarship Awards

Mr. Saied Taie, Chairman of the Mary and Ken Rhodes KIWANIS Scholarship Committee, recently announced the 2023 award recipients at a luncheon hosted at the Jaycee Hall of Hollywood. The event was sponsored by the Community Service Foundation of Broward County, Robert Giacin, Trustee and KIWANIS member.

This year the KIWANIS Club of Hollywood awarded a total of $59,000 to 29 graduating seniors from 7 Hollywood high schools. Mr. Taie addressed the students, parents and school educators commenting, “Every member of the KIWANIS Club of Hollywood looks forward to this day each year. It’s a wonderful reminder of the excitement of completing one’s high school studies and taking the next steps toward a rewarding future. We hope these scholarships will facilitate your journey.”

The Kiwanis Club of Hollywood meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at noon at Piccadilly Restaurant, 4500 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33021.
