Community Cooperation of the Year Award Recipient

On Sunday, December 12, 2021 Florida PAL presented its Community Cooperation of the Year Award to Richard Quadracci and the Windhover Foundation. Richard was nominated by the Police Athletic League of Hallandale Beach for his generosity to the program. Through his donations, PAL of Hallandale Beach was able to reopen during the pandemic and give our youth the ability to remain active during these trying times.

Richard stated “Thanks for this most unexpected award. I had no idea I was even being considered, It means a great deal to me. This award I dedicate to the to the Kiwanis Club of Hallandale Beach. The unique relationship between the Kiwanis and PAL is very successful and continues to bring in new support through new Kiwanis members to Hallan-dale Beach PAL. In philanthropy, it is rare to find a program with essentially no overhead, A large group of dedicated volunteers, and the ability to identify which kids are in the most need and address those needs accordingly. Of all the grants I give, PAL does the most with every Last dollar.”
