Boston Early Music Festival in Aventura

November 16, 2022

The GRAMMY-winning BEMF Chamber Opera Series makes its Florida debut on November 30th, 2022, with a Double Bill of French Baroque chamber operas written for Louis XIV: Lully’s Idylle sur la Paix and Charpentier’s La Fête de Rueil. The genius of Charpentier and Lully raises these formal tributes to musical masterpieces where dazzling singing combines with charming dances in a vivid depiction of the people’s desire for peace. This all-new production is led by BEMF’s GRAMMY-winning Musical Directors Paul O’Dette and Stephen Stubbs and acclaimed Stage Director Gilbert Blin and features an all-star roster of 26 singers, dancers, and instrumentalists.

Presented by RK Cultural Productions and the Grammy®-winning Boston Early Music Festival have partnered to co-present the Boston Early Music Festival, A Miami Premiere on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. This Boston Early Music Festival Semi-Staged Opera Series features a double bill of chamber operas with Jean-Baptiste Lully's Idylle sur la Paix and Marc-Antoine Charpentier's La Fête de Rueil.

It's RK Cultural Productions vision to provide audiences the opportunity to experience, right in their own community, enlightening and entertaining events performed by world-renowned artists, while also incorporating into special programs comprised of local artists and students, offering them a professional platform to perfect their art.

A priority for this organization is their two-tier outreach program. First, an educational outreach program to area schools presented by visiting artists where students’ educations are enhanced through music. Often subjects such as languages, world history and geography are included in the presentations. Music is a perfect avenue to cultivate a young persons’ appetite for knowledge.

The second tier of the outreach is a hospital program; artists who are performing in the area will give short performances for the hospital population (patients and staff alike). It is their aim to provide much needed uplifting diversion for those who greatly need a respite to distract, de-stress, and regain energy.
