Spring Break 2026 In Hollywood: Enjoy Responsibly & The St. Patrick's Day Parade And Festival

Spring Break 2026 Is Underway, And The Hollywood Police Department, Hollywood Fire Rescue And Beach Safety, And The Community Redevelopment Agency Welcome Visitors To The City Of Hollywood For A Fun And Safe Stay. Guests Are Encouraged To Enjoy Everything Hollywood Has To Offer While Respecting The Beach, Neighborhoods And Fellow Visitors.

A few important reminders:

• First aid is available at all lifeguard stands.

• Bicycling is permitted on the Broadwalk within the designated bike path.

• Roller skating and rollerblading are welcome, but skateboards are not permitted.

• Alcohol, glass containers, smoking and fires are prohibited on the sandy beach.

• Single-use plastics, foam items and balloons are prohibited on the barrier island and at City parks and facilities.

• Coolers must be 36 inches or smaller. Umbrellas, tents and canopies may not exceed 10 feet and must be spaced at least 10 feet apart.

• Dogs are not permitted on the Broadwalk but are welcome at Dog Beach between Custer and Pershing Streets and at City dog parks.

• Please dispose of trash properly and keep music at a respectful level.

Things to Do

Hollywood offers something for everyone this Spring Break:

• Charnow Park on the Broadwalk features shaded seating, picnic pavilions, playground equipment and a splash fountain, along with six historic paddleball courts.

• Holland Park along the Intracoastal Waterway offers boat ramps, nature trails and picnic areas.

• Stan Goldman Park is the go-to spot for pickleball and skateboarding, with a five-court complex, skatepark, fitness trail and dog park.

• Jefferson Park includes Pickleball, Tennis and Racquetball Courts, ball fields, playgrounds and open green space.

• Topeekeegee Yugnee Park features Castaway Island water park, a two-mile paved loop, picnic shelters and a scenic lake.

• Anne Kolb Nature Center offers 1,500 acres of coastal mangroves, paddling trails and an observation tower with sweeping views.

• Visitors can also explore the Downtown Hollywood Entertainment District, enjoy live music at the Hollywood Beach Bandshell, or catch a movie or concert at the ArtsPark at Young Circle.


Getting Around

The City of Hollywood offers convenient transportation options. The Sun Shuttle provides on-demand service in two zones for $2 per rider, with extended hours until midnight on select Spring Break weekends. The free Holly-Go Community Shuttle operates fixed routes throughout the city with connections to Broward County Transit and other services.


Vacation Rental Information

Visitors staying in vacation or short-term rentals are asked to respect surrounding neighborhoods. Concerns about noise, parking or trash can be reported 24 hours a day to the Vacation Rental Hotline at: (954) 231-2375 or through the City’s online reporting system. Licensed properties are required to respond quickly to issues.

St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival in Downtown Hollywood

Experience one of the largest St. Patrick's Day parades in the country!

Over a mile in length - you'll see some of the most exciting performers, festive floats, antique vehicles, marching bands, & more!!


All the way from the Big Apple - Don't miss the NYPD Emerald Society Pipe and Drum Corps as they lead the processional East down Hollywood Boulevard, through Young's Circle, and back up Harrison Street, to Dixie Highway!


There will be live performances all day at the main stage, located at 19th Ave & Hollywood Boulevard and a chance to sing along with your Irish Folk favorites & catch amazing performances!
