What Began As A Crazy Idea Whipped Up Between A Father And Son Has Grown Into One Of South Florida’s Most Beloved Ice Cream Destinations. Lily’s Ice Cream Is A True Family Affair, Run By The Gilinsky Family (Ronen, With Sons Ori And Tal) Who Built The Shop From Scratch With Passion, Persistence, And A True Love For America’s Sweetest Summer Indulgence. Preparing To Launch Their New (And Second) Location On Friday, August 8th, 2025 At The Biscayne Commons Shopping Center In North Miami, The Gilinskys Never Imagined Their Love For Ice Cream Would Grow Into Something So Much More Than That. Truth Be Told, The Gilinsky Family Purchased And Renovated Their First Storefront In Delray Beach Before Even Knowing How To Make Ice Cream. Since Then, They Developed A Loyal Following And Were Proudly Named #1 Best Ice Cream In South Florida By The Sun Sentinel.

At the heart of the brand is co-owner and self-taught ice cream imaginaire Ori Gilinsky, who, despite having no formal culinary background, taught himself the art of ice cream with the help of some key mentors and YouTube. Inspired by globe-trotting adventures, much eating and exploration, and fueled by countless hours experimenting with flavor combinations, ingredients and products, he developed his own style based on, first and foremost, the principle of “keeping it fun.” Ronen, the patriarch of the Gilinsky clan, oversees the financial side of the business while brother Tal plays an active role in day-to-day operations.

“Lily’s was born out of a deep love for ice cream and a desire to create something truly original, fun and delicious. We’re not here to replicate what’s already out there; we want people to try something they’ve never had before,” says Ori of the shop, named after his sister. “We’re so excited to bring Lily’s to North Miami and look forward to welcoming new faces, connecting with the community, and sharing our passion for ice cream.”

With a focus on creativity and quality, Lily’s offers a diverse and playful menu that highlights both classic and unique flavors. Like the Delray location, the North Miami store will feature the brand’s 12 signature flavors alongside four rotating flavors that change monthly, offering customers something new to try every time. Must-try delights among the signature scoops include: Dusty Monkey — brown-sugar-infused banana ice cream studded with biscoff cookies; South Florida Swamp — chocolate ice cream with Oreo cookies and chocolate chips; Fairy Floss — cotton candy ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and frosted Animal Crackers and Wolverine Delight — cake batter ice cream with brownies, sprinkles, and cookie dough. Other signature flavors include Pure Vanilla; Double Espresso; Mint Chocolate Chunk; Belgium Chocolate; Kinderella; Strawberry Dream; Cookies N Cream Supreme and Cookie Chaos. In addition to its signature scoops, Lily’s also offers a variety of sweet treats, including specialty sundaes, ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, and homemade waffle cones.

Every batch of ice cream is made in-house using all-natural ingredients, with no preservatives or artificial additives. The menu is fully Kosher and includes a selection of dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan options, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

To make sure the North Miami opening is extra sweet, Ori has partnered with a handful of well-known local celebrities for killer August flavor collaborations including Miami TV icon and foodie extraordinaire Belkys Nerey of WSVN Fox 7; radio legend Paul Castronovo of WBGG 105.9 FM and Social Media influencer Mike Zein. The North Miami location is set to open on Friday, August 8th, 2025.
