Business And Community Leaders, Residents And Fellows In Broward Health’s Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program, Broward Health Physicians And Broward Health Leadership Gathered At The Wharf Fort Lauderdale To Support The Broward Health Foundation’s Annual Doc & Dine, Raising More Than $50,000 To Enhance Patient Care And Expand Services Across The Broward Health System.
Presented by Merrimac Ventures, Doc & Dine provided a unique opportunity for supporters to connect directly with physicians, residents and healthcare professionals who deliver exceptional care to patients throughout South Florida. The evening fostered meaningful conversations while raising vital funds to advance innovative programs, cutting-edge technology and compassionate care initiatives.
Broward Health’s GME program, designed to support the region’s growing physician workforce, continues to grow at a historic pace. Broward Health currently has its largest GME class in the health system’s 88-year history and now supports 365 residents and fellows, a 9% increase from 2024 to 2025. Broward Health recently unveiled a new 28,250-square-foot GME facility, a state-of-the-art space designed to support the region’s growing physician workforce while prioritizing resident education, collaboration and mental health.
