Hollywood Brazilian Carnaval

Join us this Saturday at the ArtsPark at Young Circle for a joyous Brazilian celebration with authentic carnaval music and performers! This free, family-friendly event begins at 7 p.m. and will feature Gafieira Rio Miami, an 11-piece Brazilian big band led by Latin Grammy winner Diogo Brown, playing high-energy hits to get everyone dancing.

Joining them on stage will be very special guests from Brazil, singers Jair Oliviera and Baia. The opening set by Gabi Lacombe will electrify the stage with her enchanting vocals and pulsating rhythms.

The night will end in grand fashion with the thunderous drums and sensational dancers of Bateria Unidos de Miami, a real samba school that will transport the audience to the streets of Rio de Janeiro. Arrive early at 6 p.m. and join drum ensemble Miamibloco for a samba percussion workshop and interactive performance!

C’mon Get Happy!
Spread kindness, positivity and love for community at Hollywood Happy Day on Monday, May 2nd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the ArtsPark at Young Circle in Downtown Hollywood. Hosted by the Hollywood Youth Ambassadors, the event will feature motivational and inspiring performances and art from Hollywood high school students.
Hollywood Happy Day is free and lawn seating is available.
