Free Reggae Concert This Sunday at the ArtsPark: Hollywood ArtsPark Experience: Third World

February 3, 2022

Head out to the ArtsPark at Young Circle in Downtown Hollywood on Sunday for a Reggae concert featuring Third World. Celebrating 47 years, Third World is one of the longest-lived Reggae bands of all time, and one of Jamaica’s most consistently popular crossover acts among international audiences. Mixing in elements of R&B, funk, pop, and rock and, later on, dancehall and rap, Third World’s style has been described as “reggae-fusion.”

With nine Grammy nominations and catalogue of charted smash hits, including (“Now That We Found Love”, ”96 Degrees in the Shade” and “Try Jah Love”), spanning over four decades, the group is holding firm to the cultural and ancestral roots of its members and still pushes forward the cutting edge of music worldwide.

The concert takes place on Sunday, February 6th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the ArtsPark Amphitheater. Admission is free. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket for lawn seating. Reminder: Single-use plastics and Styrofoam containers are prohibited at the ArtsPark, including plastic bottles and bags.
