Dania Beach Back-to-School Beach Cleanup

The third annual Back-to-School Beach Clean Up and Backpack Giveaway was held on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the Dania Beach Pier Beach. Under the sweltering summer heat, community volunteers spread out throughout the beach collecting litter. Kids received complimentary backpacks and books, community hours, refreshing snow cones, and light bites.

Thank you to our community and business partners: Broward County Public Schools / FACE, Lucky Fish, Quarterdeck, Broward County Solid Waste & Recycling, Walmart, Waste Management, The Trash Pirates, VPX Sports, The Girl Scouts, Lions Club, Memorial Healthcare System, and Saltz Michelson Architects.
