Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida: Classical & Neoclassical Ballets Come To Aventura

Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida officially opens its 25th Anniversary Season, Saturday, October 15th, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 16th, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. presenting a Neoclassical and Classical repertoire including Shostakovich Suites by the Company’s Artistic Director Vladimir Issaev. The Program also includes Endless to Mahler's Symphony 5 Adagio and Nebrada's popular Pentimento with music from J. S. Bach. Requiring virtuosity and strength from the professional dancers of the company, Asaf Messerer's Spring Waters is danced to one of Rachmaninoff's most popular compositions.
The Nutcracker Silver Anniversary Event

Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida presents a 25th Silver Anniversary Celebration of The Nutcracker in a special event that also celebrates the 60th Anniversary of the Company’s Artistic Director, Vladimir Issaev’s place as an important member of the international dance community. Issaev choreographs and directs the classic ballet to Tchaikovsky's popular score. Based on the tale of Ernst Hoffmann, The Nutcracker features the charm of the holidays with snowflakes, sugarplums, naughty little boys and magical dolls. Tickets are $50 with a $100 VIP Ticket offering a Silver Anniversary Souvenir and Drink Voucher.

Company Artistic Director Vladimir Issaev choreographs and directs the classic ballet to Tchaikovsky's popular score. Based on the tale of Ernst Hoffmann, the ballet is guaranteed to entertain any age with its engaging choreography - from the fun of the party scene to the harrowing battle scene to the enchanting kingdom of the sweets. This awarded professional company features their own ballet stars performing the principal roles, as well as a community cast made up of local character artists and children.
The Nutcracker Sensory Inclusive

Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida is proud to present a "sensory-inclusive" dance performance with this modified, shortened version of the holiday classic ballet The Nutcracker. With dancers of all ages, colorful costumes and breathtaking music, this 60-minute abridged sensory-friendly performance of the timeless classic celebrates the magic of the season and serves as a wonderful introduction to the ballet. This performance is intended to create a welcoming and supportive environment for children and adults on the Autism Spectrum as well as individuals with other Sensitivity Issues or Developmental Disabilities.
Chipolino

Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida presents Chipollino, a two-act ballet with music by Karen Khachaturian and under the artistic direction of Vladimir Isaaev, who also choreographed this fun and enjoyable ballet adapted for American audiences. Based on a fairy tale by Gianni Rodari, the story tells the adventures of a group of fruits and vegetables living within The Town of Limonia where little green onion Chipolino and her friends Ms. Carrot and Ms. Daysi live funny adventures. Naughty Chipolino steps on the foot of Prince Lemon and his father Chipollone is taken to prison by mistake. At the castle, Ms. Cherry and her beautiful flower friends help him liberate his beloved father but not before facing a series of mischievous and risky moments.
