New Paid On-Street Parking To Begin October 1st In Hollywood

The affected areas include:

• Taylor Street between Federal Highway and 21st Avenue

• Jackson Street between Federal Highway and 21st Avenue

• 17th Avenue between Polk Street and Johnson Street

• Polk Street between Federal Highway and 14th Avenue

Residential Parking Permits

To ease the transition for residents living on these streets, the City will offer annual residential parking permits. Each household may purchase up to two permits per year for $25 each.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must provide the following documentation:

• A valid driver’s license

• Vehicle registration in the applicant’s name

• Proof of residency (property tax bill, voter registration card, utility bill, or signed lease)

Part-time residents who own property in the impacted area may also qualify with the proper documents. However, residents of large multi-unit rental properties are not eligible for this program.

How to Apply

Applications can be submitted online at: www.HollywoodFL.org/parking or in person at the Parking Office, located at: 2600 Hollywood Blvd. in the City Hall Annex Building.

Paid parking will take effect on October 1st, so residents are encouraged to secure their permits as soon as possible.
