The Second City
The City of Aventura presents The Second City: Comedian Rhapsody on Friday, February 23rd at 8:00 p.m. This brand new revue features the best sketch comedy and songs from the troupe’s history as well as new classics and trademark improvisation.

In a review, BroadwayWorld reported, “The 90-minute show was a hybrid of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Saturday Night Live . . . this group’s forte seemed to be the sketch material, a series of quick hitting, less than three-minute skits that invoked more laughter than entire episodes of SNL.”

Renowned for performing social and political satire with scripted scenes, music and improvisation, this legendary comedy troupe has been the training ground for such comics as Bill Murray, Mike Myers, Steve Carell, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Jane Lynch, Aidy Bryant, Steven Yeun, Keegan-Michael Key and Jason Sudeikis.
