With ten members, the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board advises the City Commission on all matters related to Public Parks, Playgrounds, and Recreational Facilities. This includes recommending Rules and Regulations, Evaluating Beautification and Accessibility Issues, and Promoting Volunteer Programs. Board members are appointed by the five City Commissioners, each nominating two residents. If you have a passion for Community Development, Parks, or Recreation, this board could be your perfect fit.
3. Planning and Zoning Board (PZB) – 1 Vacancy
The Planning and Zoning Board is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on Zoning Changes, Land Use Plans, and Major Development Proposals.
