Aventura Parks and Facilities: During October & November Many parks Will Close to Prepare for Special Events

In order for The City of Aventura to prepare for its upcoming Halloween / Movie Night and 27th Annual Founders Day celebration, the City will temporarily close parks and facilities on the days preceding and after the scheduled events. Temporary closures will affect the following parks and facilities: Founders Park - 3105 Northeast 190th Street, Aventura, Florida, 33180 - Waterways Park - 3301 Northeast 213th Street, Aventura, Florida 33180 -The Community Recreation Center - 3375 Northeast 188th Street, Aventura, Florida 33180.

The following closure schedule will be observed:

• Founders Park will be closed Friday, October 28th, 2022 - Saturday, October 29th, 2022

• Community Recreation Center will be closed Saturday, October 29th, 2022 and Waterways Park will only be open 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

• Founders Park will be closed Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 – Tuesday, November 15th, 2022

• Waterways Park & The Community Recreation Center will both be closed Sunday, November 13th, 2022

During October & November, The City of Aventura will be preparing to host the Founders Day & Halloween Movie Night events to foster community spirit and pride in Aventura. The Community Services Department is responsible for ensuring that all services, parks and activities reflect the City’s dedication to excellence.
