Annual Back To School Giveaway: Celebrate Community And Support Students At The August 12th Event

As the summer days wind down, the city of North Miami is gearing up for its annual Back to School Giveaway, a cornerstone event dedicated to ensuring local students are well-prepared for the upcoming academic year. Scheduled for Monday, August 12th, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Joe Celestin Center, located at 1525 Northwest 135th Street, this event promises an afternoon filled with festivities, free school supplies, and community spirit.

The Back to School Giveaway is more than just a distribution of supplies; it is a vibrant celebration that brings together families, educators, and community organizations to support North Miami's youth. The event, organized in collaboration with the Association of Haitian Educators of Dade and 99 Jamz, aims to alleviate the financial burden on families by providing essential school supplies free of charge.
