Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from Monday, September 15th, 2025 to Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 honors the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America. The Hispanic Heritage Festival, with its family-friendly programming and cultural showcases, brings this celebration to life in a way that is both educational and immersive.
This year’s festival boasts themed areas that highlight different aspects of Hispanic life, ensuring that every guest—regardless of age or background—feels part of the celebration.
Abuela's House
A charming activation where guests can enjoy complimentary coffee, bite-sized sandwiches, refreshing lemonade, and stroll through Abuela’s flower garden. This inviting space captures the warmth and tradition of a beloved cultural icon, offering a nostalgic and memorable experience for all. Presented by Publix Supermarkets.
El Escenario
The main stage and the scheduled headliners are sure to get everyone on their feet with a dynamic blend of traditional and contemporary Salsa music. Cachi y Saoco Nuevo Band, known as the masters of Salsa Dura and Latin Groove, will deliver an electrifying performance. Melina Almodóvar, famously known as La Muñeca de la Salsa, will keep the crowd moving with her powerful vocals and infectious energy. Frankie Ruiz Jr., The Son of Salsa, will honor his father’s legendary legacy while introducing a new generation to the heart and soul of the genre. Together, these performers promise a celebration of culture, rhythm, and unforgettable music.
Voces y Pasos
A handful of roaming performances and cultural characters will bring the event to life, capturing the true essence of Hispanic heritage. From the passionate rhythms of Flamenco dancers to the vibrant sounds of Mariachi performers will have their spotlight in this area. These interactive moments will add energy, authenticity and excitement throughout the festival grounds.
El Patio
Exciting interactive activities for kids, making it a fun-filled experience for the whole family. Children can enjoy a special Meet and Greet with Maribel and Bruno from Encanto, bringing a touch of magic and wonder to the celebration. In “El Patio,” little ones can play traditional backyard games popular in Hispanic cultures, like fútbol. Plus, the Piñata Party area offers a festive photo opportunity, perfect for capturing lasting memories of this cultural celebration.
La Cueva
We certainly haven't forgotten the Abuelos and the Papás! To honor their traditions and provide a space to relax and connect, we've created a special Hispanic Man Cave area. This section will feature a live cigar roller, offering a taste of timeless craftsmanship, and several domino tables where guests can enjoy friendly competition in a classic pastime beloved across Hispanic cultures.
Cartas y Corazones
Crafting and cultural traditions will continue in a special area dedicated to heartfelt expression. Cartas y Corazones invites guests of all ages to write sweet notes in Spanish to their friends and loved ones. This charming activity blends creativity and language, offering a meaningful way to celebrate friendship, love, and Hispanic traditions through handwritten messages.
El Mercado
Guests can also enjoy shopping for traditional Hispanic cultural items from vendors representing a variety of countries. From handcrafted goods to authentic art, clothing, and accessories, this vibrant marketplace will showcase the rich heritage and craftsmanship of Hispanic cultures across the globe.
