Rose Cafe, A Beloved Sunny Isles Cafe Known For Its Healthy Delicious Mediterranean-Inspired Menu Of Cafe Fare Including Pastries, Paninis And Perfectly Poured Coffees Coming To Full Bloom Later This Month; Taking The Opportunity To Unveil A Full Bar Program And Dinner Service, Officially Transforming Into Rose Cafe & Restaurant. Located At 16690 Collins Avenue, Suite#: 102, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 Rose Cafe & Restaurant Is The Work Of Philanthropist Alexandra Milton, Whose Love Of Travel And Culture Informs Every Detail Of The Restaurant. With Business Partner Sebastian Garaviz, Rose Cafe First Broke Ground During The Immediate Aftermath Of The COVID-19 Pandemic, Envisioned As A Chic, Sophisticated Space Where Guests Would Feel Welcome Body And Soul And Find Solace During That Particularly Difficult Moment In History.
According to Milton, “Sebastian and I wanted every person who walked through our doors to feel loved, seen, and deeply nourished – from the heart to the palate. We created a clean menu: no refined oils, no processed sugars, only ingredients that nourish, balance, and heal. We want to guide our guests toward mindful choices – and we do it with love, not restriction.”
Now, after capturing the hearts and appetites of its neighbors with charm and flavor, Rose Cafe & Restaurant will continue its journey to become a sanctuary for all who enter, now offering dinner service and a full bar experience. Guests can enjoy Rose Cafe & Restaurant all day, be it breakfast and a perfectly made coffee beverage with a friend, a business lunch, or an elevated yet comfort-oriented dinner, supping on a new dinner menu of Mediterranean/Italian specialties. No detail, from the dining room’s refined new to every thoughtfully executed feature, has been overlooked, Milton bringing her distinctive vision to life in every corner.
With a sense of well-being and whole body vitality at its core, the dinner menu is filled with fresh, exquisite flavors and features no refined oils. “Food can and should be delicious without being weighed down by unnecessary butters, creams, fats, sugars and oils,” notes Milton. “The menu here is built to deliver pleasure but not sacrifice well-being for flavor.”
To that end, light, fresh dishes abound, including a generous array of Antipasti and Insalate, such as a trio of housemade Mediterranean dips served with house-made focaccia and slow-steamed octopus atop golden hummus with delicately fried polenta to the Cavolo e avocado salad of finely-chopped kale, shredded carrots, cashews, avocado, Parmigiano-Reggiano, housemade croutons and a drizzle of Caesar dressing. Crafted Pastas include Paccheri al Pomodoro e Stracciatella – Paccheri pasta with fresh tomato sauce, basil, and creamy burrata cheese; Tagliatelle Bolognese – Fresh tagliatelle with slow-cooked beef ragù, San Marzano tomatoes, and a Barolo wine reduction; and Gnocchetti ai Frutti di Mare – Small gnocchi with clams, mussels, shrimp, octopus, and cherry tomatoes. Main plate standouts in the opening menu include Grilled Ribeye with Roasted Potatoes – 12 oz. USDA Prime Angus ribeye, grass-fed, grilled to preferred temperature, served with rosemary roasted potatoes; Grilled Langostinos served with an arugula and cherry tomato salad; Dover Sole “alla mugnaia” for Two - a whole Dover sole lightly floured and cooked with lemon, capers, and white wine; and Braised Lamb Shank with Polenta - slow-cooked lamb shank served with creamy mashed potatoes and crispy polenta chips.
The famed desserts at Rose Cafe & Restaurant include sweet and indulgent creations such as homemade pastries and gelato. These are also available at its to-go counter. The new cocktail program at Rose Cafe & Restaurant is not to be missed. In addition to its impressive wine list, creative and classic libations that complement the cuisine will be offered during lunch and dinner service. As always, Rose’s signature touch shines through: feminine, bold, and delicate. The full cocktail menu is forthcoming.Inspired by Milton’s own name, Rose Cafe captures the essence of the charming cafes she fell in love with across Europe, spaces where romance and beauty come together effortlessly. Designed by Heather Ashton, the 110-seat indoor-outdoor space, features an Art Deco-inspired aesthetic awash in pastel and pink colors. This design highlights a sense of warm luxury and creates a safe space where every detail tells a story, while still paying homage to Rose Cafe's spiritual birthplace: Paris.
With giving back as part of Milton’s DNA, she was drawn to the Agape Foundation, a rehabilitation program for women survivors of abuse and substance dependency, through the Seeds of Faith initiative. According to her, “Through this partnership, we collaborate in the cultivation of natural produce in the Agape Garden — and some of those ingredients make their way into our kitchen today. It’s our way of saying that we can all be reborn — with dignity, support, and real opportunities.”
