- Hurricane Season Begins This Week: Stay Informed And Be Prepared
Hurricane Season Begins This Week: Stay Informed And Be Prepared May 31, 2023 Share Thursday, June 1st marks the start of the 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season. A hurricane can cause major headaches for you and your family - power outages, long lines at gasoline stations and supermarkets, limited medical supplies, not being able to stay informed, etc. The best way to minimize these and many other problems is to be prepared. Don't wait until a hurricane threatens our region to think about what you need to safeguard you and your family. Families should be finalizing plans now to determine essentials such as how much water your family needs, where you will go if you need to evacuate before a storm hits and how you will stay in contact with loved ones. Some important points to consider when preparing your hurricane plan and gathering supplies: • Self Sufficiency: Plan on being self-sufficient for at least seven days after a hurricane hits your area. Emergency crews and government agencies will likely be tending to the hardest hit areas, so you should not rely on their assistance immediately following a storm. Organize your hurricane kit at: https://www.ready.gov/kit • Evacuations: Do you live in an evacuation zone? If so, do you know where you will go if an evacuation order is issued for your area? Only go as far as you need to get to a safe location. Leaving the county and driving long distances is not advisable. A storm may change direction at any time, and debris scattered by a storm may make returning extremely difficult. • Don't Plan on Evacuating? Help Us Notify Your Loved Ones If You Don't Survive: If you live in an evacuation zone but do not plan on heading to a safe location following an evacuation order, the City of Hollywood respectfully requests to help first responders identify you and notify a loved one if you do not survive the storm that you submit a Next of Kin Information Form by visiting: https://www.hollywoodfl.org/FormCenter/Emergency-Management-Next-of-Kin-Informa-28/Next-of-Kin-Information-Form-308 • Shelters: Going to a hurricane evacuation shelter should be considered a last resort. They can get full and do not have the comforts of a friend's or relative's home. • Evacuation routes and zone map visit: https://www.broward.org/Hurricane/Pages/EvacuationRoutes.aspx • Evacuation shelter information visit: https://www.broward.org/Hurricane/Documents/PI201867423EmergencyMapA.pdf • Emergency Contacts: Establish reliable emergency contacts inside and outside our region to ensure that your loved ones know the status of you and your family. • Special Medical Needs: Have a relative with special medical needs? Be sure to make appropriate arrangements for them. You also can register them for accommodation at a Special Medical Needs Shelter, visit: https://www.broward.org/AtRisk/pages/specialneeds.aspx To request or obtain an application for a Special Needs Shelter and/or Paratransit evacuation transportation, including applications in alternative formats, call Broward County Emergency Management at: (954) 831-3902 Or TTY at: (954) 831-3940. Need prescription medication following a hurricane/emergency? Learn what pharmacies are open in your area during an emergency by visiting: http://www.rxopen.org/ • Pets: Don't forget your pets! Make sure you have enough food and water for them and you keep them indoors with you during a storm. If you have to evacuate and would like to inquire about placing your pet in a pet-friendly shelter, please call the Humane Society of Broward County at: (954) 989-3977. Broward County Emergency Management Hurricane Hotline Have a question about government services before, during and after a hurricane? - “Elders Of Zion 2.0” - Antisemitic ‘Tired Islam’ Conspiracy Takes Root On Social Media | sun-times
“Elders Of Zion 2.0” - Antisemitic ‘Tired Islam’ Conspiracy Takes Root On Social Media South Florida Sun Times Nov 26, 2025 Tel Aviv – Cyberwell, A Nonprofit Trusted Partner Of Meta (Facebook, Instagram And Threads), Tiktok And Youtube, Focused On Combating Online Antisemitism, Has Identified And Flagged A Rapidly Growing Arabic-Language Conspiracy Theory Known As “Tired Islam.” Born Entirely On Social Media, The Narrative Falsely Claims That A Jewish Or “Zionist” Author Named Jacob Dunne Published A Book Titled “The Tired Islam,” Outlining A Secret Plan To Dismantle Arab And Muslim Society From Within. In Reality, No Such Book Exists In The U.S. Library Of Congress Or Elsewhere, Yet This Fabricated Claim Has Become Central To The Narrative’s Viral Spread. “This trend is a modern-day digital replica of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. It revives century-old religious antisemitism, tailored to go viral on today’s platforms,” said CyberWell Founder and CEO Tal-Or Cohen Montemayor. “The narrative pushes the same antisemitic tropes that have historically led to mass violence against Jews, now wrapped in a pseudointellectual setting to appear credible and urgent.” Videos promoting the conspiracy often feature a series of fabricated bullet-point “excerpts” from a fictional chapter titled “The End of the Arabs.” These include false claims that Jews aim to destroy Muslim society by promoting feminism, moral decay, attacking mosques, eroding family values and using technology to distract and dominate Muslim youth. The videos also display imagined publication details, such as “Volume 7, 4th Edition, 2011” and falsely state that the text is stored in the Library of Congress. The narrative frequently concludes by calling viewers to treat the video as a religious and moral obligation to share. In many instances, the “Tired Islam” narrative is paired with or presented as a continuation of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, reinforcing the illusion of a long-standing Jewish blueprint for global domination. Some users explicitly frame the conspiracy as a hidden truth being implemented in real time, directly linking Jewish identity to the alleged moral and spiritual decline of Muslim communities. “Digital platforms are facing a moment of reckoning due to the continued poisoning and abuse of the information economy. Antisemitic actors are using the virality of misinformation to inject age-old conspiracies into religious and political discourse. The fact that this narrative is being promoted as a ‘religious’ imperative makes it especially difficult to moderate and even more dangerous,” said Cohen Montemayor. “We are watching, in real time, the formation of new Protocols; but unlike 1903, this time the digital platforms governing content through Trust & Safety can still stop it before it spreads beyond control.” Despite clear violations of hateful conduct policies, promoting classic antisemitic tropes and stereotypes about Jews and ulterior conspiracies, Social Media platforms are consistently failing to intervene against this harmful modern conspiracy theory. In multiple escalation cases from CyberWell, platforms concluded that the content did not violate community standards, illustrating that the platforms do not have a consistent policy around citation of anonymous or forged texts. “Like any trending conspiracy theory or misinformation campaign, the window for effective containment on algorithmic charged platforms is brief. Unlike the myriad of misinformation and disinformation campaigns we have documented online since the October 7 Hamas massacre and ensuing war with Israel in the Gaza Strip, this harmful conspiracy is not tied to the news cycle or an active conflict. This creates an opportunity for more effective scalable intervention and enforcement of Trust & Safety standards with less concern for censorship and denial of access to information on the platform side of things,” added Cohen Montemayor. “However, the Tired Islam trend dehumanizes Jews and positions them as a collective enemy of Islam. Left unchecked, this will radicalize communities, incite division and fuel religious hatred across borders. Narratives like this could easily escalate into real-world violence, particularly if audiences are led to believe that their core belief systems and family values are under direct attack by a specific minority group. Comparable dynamics were observed in the lead-up to the Charlie Hebdo attack in France, where portrayals of perceived assaults on Islam contributed to radical extremist violence and terrorism.” CyberWell is an independent, internationally focused, tech-rooted NonProfit combating the spread of antisemitism online. Its AI-technologies monitor Social Media in English and Arabic for posts that promulgate antisemitism, Holocaust denial and promote violence against Jews and their allies based on the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism. Its analysts review and report this content to platform moderators while indexing all verified posts in the first-ever open database of antisemitic Social Media posts, democratically cataloging it for transparency at: https://app.cyberwell.org . Through partnerships, education and real-time alerts, CyberWell is holding Social Media platforms and their moderators accountable, promoting proactive steps against online Jew-hate. - Hallandale Beach Parking Update: There Has Been Frustration Over the Different Zones
Hallandale Beach Parking Update: There Has Been Frustration Over the Different Zones By Hallandale Beach Mayor, Joy Cooper December 9, 2021 Share Over the past few weeks, I have received emails and calls about our expanded parking program. There has been frustration over the different zones. I have received some supportive and some not supportive calls about The Golden Isles/Diana Drive Zone. Over the past month what has happened is the program has worked on these blocks. Golden Isles Drive parking is limited to the number of spots that have been established. These spots were designed under codes required by Florida Department of Transportation standards for turning radius and sight lines. This is why there seems to be areas that everyday citizens would think there should be spots created. We can not change this layout. The good news is with the new plan there are many more spots open on Diana Drive. These spots are walking distance to Golden Isles Drive. It turns out that many of the condos at the Beachwalk have become vacation rentals. There is parking at the building but the people renting or visiting do not want to pay. In addition, the hotel does charge for spots, but it was cheaper for many not to pay. With the increase to 4 dollars an hour many of the spots are now vacant. So, the program does work by expanding the available spots. There have also been issues everywhere in the City about the storage of work vehicles, campers and trailers. Diana Drive has been a dumping ground for these types of vehicles, which will be ticketed. I have still received some concerns over nurses and caregivers having to pay. I also had some complaints about motorcycle parking. One person complained about guest parking but was not sure if this individual was also a vacationer or an owner. These are valid concerns that we hope to address in the next budget cycle. I cannot say at this time it will be remedied but we all are aware. The next location of concern has been Atlantic Shores. Many residents that own units along the corridor were unaware that the spots were not a common area of the building but they are city property which poses a unique situation. For years we have had enforcement issues there. Many vehicles, campers and trailers were being stored and residents were complaining that these vehicles were parking in their spots. So now those residents are required to pay or have a monthly pass. Passes are $30, which is $1 per day. Hourly is more and hopefully this will free up spots just like on Diana Drive. The next location is along the area of Northeast 3rd Street which is a combination of residential and commercial parking. Just a few years ago, there was no parking along this corridor. When Art Square was built as part of their approval, they had to make improvements to the road. This upgraded the area tremendously and added more spots, Art Square does have its own parking. The new townhouses were built with 2 spots per house but some of the other buildings were built using the old codes. Due to the mix of concerns over vacation rentals and spillover of commercial vehicles that were staying all day long, this area was set at $4 per hour with no monthly passes and this is where the issue lies. On one hand residents received more spots but now we want to make sure that overnight rentals and commercial vehicles are not using those parking spaces and then there will hopefully be a balance created by the program. We also have an issue with business parking, as we are in the midst of expanding a new lot that is also being upgraded along 1st Avenue and north of 3rd. Residents are requesting that we issue them monthly passses because at this point in time there have not been any commitments to make any changes until we gather some more data from the new technology that has been adopted. The Pay by Phone technology will give us an idea of the demand and uses within each zone. I have yet to hear complaints from Three Islands, but I am sure there are some residents that are not thrilled with the program. With this said the first report and even visual observations have proven that the program is working. Are there issues over some zones? Yes, but we are asking the residents to be patient until we have actually collected all of the data. The other area of good news is our beach parking. Our City was one of the cheapest so many non-residents loved to come to our beach. We love visitors, but in all actuality they do not pay taxes and they are using our resources and amenities. By increasing the hourly rate for visitors, we have created additional revenues. I have been asking for overnight parking at our beaches for many years. We will hopefully look at some types of expansions in the upcoming budget. We have very limited parking at North Beach. The expansion will certainly help offset the demand from Etaru and will make our North Beach Community Center more desirable as a rental or for future lease. This will open up spaces at the properties on the beach for overflow, from overnight parking. Beginning after the first of the year our parking program will be fully implemented and enforced. As a reminder the fees for the program offset the program costs and do generate much needed revenue. The information on this program can be found on our website at: www.cohb.org . - Mastering The Subtle Art Of Sustainable Luxury - This Miami Beach Standout Is Setting A New Standard For Conscious Comfort | sun-times
Mastering The Subtle Art Of Sustainable Luxury - This Miami Beach Standout Is Setting A New Standard For Conscious Comfort By Merilee Kern, MBA Dec 17, 2025 On Collins Avenue In Miami’s Upscale Mid-Beach District, The Palms Hotel & Spa Feels Different The Moment You Step Inside. The Property Reads Like A Nature-First Oasis That Just Happens To Be Oceanfront, And The Result Is A Style Of Hospitality That Favors Ease Over Spectacle And Ritual Over Trend. In a city known for its flash, The Palms stands out for the opposite reason. The experience here is founded on simplicity, calm and connection; to nature, to the community, and to a slower sense of time. What you do not see is as important as what you do. The hotel doesn’t announce its sustainability initiatives; it weaves them into everyday operations so seamlessly that guests often notice only after the fact. Bottled water comes in aluminum or glass instead of plastic. Bath amenities in large-scale 100% recycled ocean-bound plastic containers replace single-use plastics without compromising style or scent. Heat-sensor lighting and A/C, quick-dry bathrobes, and air purification systems support both comfort and conservation. Outside, the gardens serve more than an aesthetic role. They cool the property naturally and create a quiet refuge just steps from the beach. Their in-house “Fill-S-Bucket” Program invites guests to learn about and preserve the marine and beach environment if they want, and step back into vacation mode when they are done Partnerships with local educators, like Blue Scholars Initiative and environmental non-profits, like the Surfrider Foundation or the Coral Restoration Foundation, help raise further awareness of marine conservation and protection. Balance is the point. Sustainability supports the stay, not the other way around. The Palms AVEDA Spa extends that everyday wellness idea rather than separating it. Service rituals draw on botanicals and Ayurvedic traditions with relaxation areas and treatment rooms tucked near water features and greenery. Book a service and you can drift between pool, beach and relaxation areas in a way that feels natural. Essensia, the signature on-site restaurant, is another standout feature where the property’s ethos becomes obvious without anyone saying a word. Menus change with the season, so flavors are bright and clean. Produce is mindfully sourced and comes from local farms and trusted purveyors wherever possible. Wines lean organic and sustainable. Cocktails respect fresh herbs and fruit. What lands on the table feels light, satisfying and rooted here. Collectively, The Palms exemplifies that sustainability doesn’t have to interrupt comfort, and that stellar hospitality can do the right thing without sacrificing standards. Below, Tanja Morariu, the property’s Director of Marketing and Head of Sustainability, provides greater insight on the many reasons The Palms is a true standout in Miami Beach. MK: First, what might visitors not know about the property but should? TM: The Palms is family-owned and operated, by the same family since 1989. The property offers private access to the beach and a connection to the public beachwalk on one of the widest stretches of beach in Miami, with exclusive access to sun loungers, cabanitas, and beach service. The combination of wellness and sustainability is foundational here, not just a marketing angle. Since 2010, the hotel has integrated sustainable practices into all aspects of operation, including rooms, spa, food and guest engagement, alongside wellness initiatives that reflect our “Inspired by Nature” philosophy for more than 15 years. The Palms is also a proud member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Beyond Green and holds a AAA Four Diamond rating. MK: The hotel prides itself on combining "laid-back sophistication" with "oceanfront serenity." How does the hotel’s service and design reflect this philosophy? TM: The decor leans into natural, relaxing sand, sea and nature tones, plus lush tropical gardens. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, rain showers, and soft linens. The ambiance balances luxury with comfort; you don’t feel overly formal. The gardens, water features, tropical planting, palms, and greenery enhance its Art Deco oceanfront architecture, making it a real sanctuary. The service is genuine, attentive and warm, not stiff and rehearsed. We emphasize wellness and sustainability, which tends toward more personalized, mindful guest experiences. Its location is oceanfront, in the more sophisticated and tranquil part of Miami Beach, providing for more “serene beach” vibes enhanced by private beach amenities, a direct beach walk, and tropical gardens offering “oceanfront serenity.” These together make The Palms Hotel & Spa unique and set us apart from the high-energy South Beach properties. MK: The hotel offers a variety of rooms and suites. What are some of the key differences and unique features of the different accommodation options? TM: We have several room types to fit the needs of diverse travelers, from Standard Rooms, City View Rooms, Partial Ocean View, and Oceanfront Rooms with 1 King or 2 Double beds, Deluxe Partial Ocean View,), Superior Oceanfront or Deluxe Oceanfront with 1 King and 1 Sleeper sofa, and then Suites (Junior Suites and One Bedroom Suites). Our Oceanfront One-Bedroom Suites are our largest room types, with around 790 square feet, and feature a separate bedroom with a King bed, a living room including a full-size pull-out sofa bed, and an expansive balcony overlooking the ocean, pool, and gardens. It is ideal for couples wanting more space, or families. All rooms offer a soothing decor and feature high thread-count linens, pillow-top mattresses, lightweight down comforters, fully stocked minibar/tea and coffee stations, air purification, streaming entertainment, bathrobes and slippers, as well as rain showers. There are ADA and accessible rooms in many categories, both City View and Oceanfront, with lowered fixtures, wider doors, and other features ideal for mobility needs. Suites have balconies, and oceanfront ones provide panoramic ocean, pool, and garden views. All rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views either of Miami Beach or the Miami cityscape. If you want a romantic stay with sunrise over the water, an Oceanfront, Superior or Deluxe Oceanfront Room, or even a one-bedroom suite with a balcony is ideal. If you are traveling with your family or a group, or need a sleeper sofa, a Superior Oceanfront, Deluxe Oceanfront, or Suite would work best for you. If the budget is more moderate, partial views or city views still offer all the amenities as well as the comforting touch. MK: The on-site AVEDA lifestyle spa is a prominent feature. What are some of the signature treatments or wellness programs offered? TM: AVEDA’s core is botanical, nature-derived, and holistic wellness. The Palms AVEDA Spa’s therapies are centered around Ayurvedic traditions, combining plant-based products, essential oils, aromatherapy, and energy balancing. The spa is meant to nurture body, mind, and soul while the ambiance is nature-inspired and tranquil, with water features, gardens, and natural materials. The facilities include five secluded treatment rooms, a Duet Suite for couples with side-by-side massage beds with a private snail shower with rain, side jets, and tropic jets, as well as an outdoor treatment cabana for al-fresco experiences. There is also a relaxation room with an indoor/outdoor relaxation area, outdoor waterfall and steam rooms well as a full hair, nail, and beauty salon onsite. Signature treatments include the Tropical Island Massage, a customizable aromatic massage that renews skin and soothes the soul; the Zen Ayurvedic Massage, a full-body treatment using warm nutrient-rich oils infused with rice, soy, sesame, and crushed stone pindas; the Chakra Balancing Experience, which uses Chakra-specific aromas, stones, sound, and mid-pressure massage; the Botanical Skin Resurfacing Facial, a plant-based alternative to microdermabrasion; and the Zen Garden Cabana Signature Experience, a multi-sensory journey in our outdoor garden that includes massage, face mask, body peel and open-air rinse. In addition, The Palms AVEDA Spa offers a wellness program with daily yoga and meditation practice. garden- or beach-side, along with a fitness center and holistic wellness packages. As a non-hotel guest spa visitor, you will receive complimentary access to the pool, beach, and fitness room for the day if you book full-priced spa services of 50 minutes or more excluding hair/nails. MK: The on-site Essensia Restaurant is described as focusing on global flavors, locally inspired, and mindfully sourced cuisine. What is the inspiration behind this unique culinary concept, and what steps does the restaurant take to ensure its ingredients are mindfully sourced? TM: Essensia’s philosophy is offering “mindfully sourced, healthfully crafted” dishes with international influences. Dishes reflect seasonal menus, local produce, and a farm-to-table approach. The ambiance is tropical, indoor/outdoor, with vegetation and lighting as well as the vicinity to water features that evoke calm and romance. Essensia sources from local farms and purveyors wherever possible, offering seafood and meats that are hormone-free or sustainable, and uses organic or naturally grown ingredients where possible. Essensia has been a Slow Food Miami “Snail of Approval” recipient since 2011 and is also recognized as a Surfrider Foundation Ocean Friendly Restaurant. Practices include seasonal rotation of menus so ingredients remain fresh and local, reducing plastics and eliminating Styrofoam, and a beverage program emphasizing organic and sustainable wines. Cocktails use fresh fruits and herbs, often locally sourced. MK: Beyond the pool and beach, the hotel is known for its lush tropical gardens. How is this intended to impact the guest experience? TM: The gardens are not just landscaping; they are part of the holistic guest experience where people can enjoy pathways, shade, and immersive ambiance. They complement the oceanfront with greenspace, add sounds of nature, cooling effects, and scents, and create a secluded hideaway from the city. The gardens are also used for private functions, including outdoor dining by the gardens, romantic dinners, and Essensia’s outdoor seating, which features lanterns and lush views. Garden yoga and wellness classes are held outdoors, and the garden spaces, including a romantic gazebo, are used for wedding ceremonies and special events in our lush, scenic setting. MK: The Palms Hotel & Spa has been recognized for its romantic offerings, even winning various awards. What services and venues does the hotel offer that make it a premier destination for weddings and special events? TM: The property features 8,000 square feet of indoor event and meeting space and 11,000 square feet of outdoor al fresco event space, including multiple meeting rooms, ballrooms, private dining areas and outdoor spaces such as our Veranda Terrace or Grand Tiki. Banquet and catering planning is handled with attention to detail in aesthetically pleasing settings that include our gardens and oceanfront, paired with premium quality food and beverage service. Bridal spa services for hair and makeup preparation are also available in the spa. Unique romantic touches throughout the property, such as oceanfront views, spacious suites with balconies, romantic dinners, and a garden ambiance, make it ideal for couples. Proposal packages for ocean- or garden-side “I do’s” are available as well. The Knot Best of Weddings recognition underlines our reputation and consistency in service. MK: What is your personal favorite aspect of the property, whether in its physical attributes or guest experience? TM: If I had to pick one thing: the gardens and the connection to nature. Not just that we have tropical landscaping, but the way gardens, ocean, spa, and wellness are interwoven; walking paths, water features, and the calm that buffers city stress. For me, that slowdown and sensory immersion in green, water, and ocean, combined with comfort, service and sustainability, is what makes this property feel special. It’s more than location; it’s how all the parts—design, service, food, sustainability—support that feeling of total well-being, inspired by nature. A Property with Purpose The Palms Hotel & Spa isn’t loud about what it does right. Its rhythm is quieter and more grounded, the kind of place that earns loyalty through feeling rather than flash. What sets it apart is how naturally its eco-conscious choices fold into the guest experience. Sustainability here isn’t a campaign. It’s a culture, one that lives in every detail from the eco-friendly amenities and mindful sourcing to the way the gardens immerse the property in tropical nature without needing explanation. Guests leave refreshed not only by the ocean air and spa treatments but by the sense that their stay supported something meaningful. The Palms shows that responsible travel can still feel indulgent, that luxury and conscience can share the same space without compromise. It’s the rare Miami Beach resort where you can find peace, connection, and purpose all in one stay ... a place that reminds you what genuine hospitality feels like when it’s inspired by nature. - More Than A Meal - Goodman JFS Hand-Delivers Dignity & Joy To Holocaust Survivor This Passover | sun-times
More Than A Meal - Goodman JFS Hand-Delivers Dignity & Joy To Holocaust Survivor This Passover South Florida Sun Times Apr 10, 2025 This Passover, Goodman Jewish Family Services (JFS) Is Uniting Broward County Through A Holiday Initiative To Distribute Over 1,100 Seder Meals And Gift Bags To Those In Need, Including Over 600 To Seniors And Holocaust Survivors Like Viviane Yassur. Beyond tradition and nourishment, these visits offer a vital connection for many seniors—nearly half of whom experience loneliness—making each delivery not just a meal but an emotional and memorable experience for all. Goodman JFS, serving one of the largest Holocaust survivor populations in the U.S., is transforming these deliveries into moments of hope and holiday spirit. Each Kosher meal package includes traditional favorites and a personal note. Passover runs from the evening of April 12th to April 20th. About Viviane Yassur Born in Fes, Morocco in 1939, Viviane's early life was shaped by adversity. As antisemitic laws spread in 1940, her family was forced from their home in Fes to the Jewish Quarter--The Mallah Ghetto, where essentials like bread and milk were rationed. Growing up undernourished, Viviane battled Tuberculosis and various medical conditions from a young age. Most of what she knows about her time in Mallah was told to her by her parents. However, she does have memories of the darkness, consequently causing her to live in fear. She later learned that the darkness stemmed from curfews and blue paper covering the window panes to conceal their presence from the outside. To this day, she is still afraid of the dark. Despite these challenges, Viviane's resilience shone through. After the war, an opportunity emerged for young people to study in the United States and return to their country to teach what they studied. Viviane would go on to earn a full scholarship to UCLA for a certification to teach English. Her time in LA was transformative, living with a Psychiatrist's family and helping care for their daughter while going to school. Returning to Morocco, Viviane taught English briefly before moving to Israel, where she continued her teaching career and met her first husband, an American. The marriage ended in divorce, but she later found love again in Maryland, where she worked as a bookkeeper. Viviane and her second husband eventually retired to Hallandale Beach. She has no children but remains close to her nieces and holds a rich history of memories from a life of resilience and reinvention. This Thursday Goodman JFS leaders will personally visit 86-year-old Holocaust survivor and Hallandale Beach resident Viviane Yassur to deliver her Passover Seder meal and holiday package at Highland Park Village in Hallandale Beach.
