This is a Hebrew School of the highest quality that kids can’t wait to go to! An Educational Consulting Company hired by Miami-Dade to rate All County After School Programs, has rated Chabad Chayil’s Program one of the best. After spending two weeks observing and analyzing every aspect of the Chabad’s Program, Cynthia Serure, President of A Gift for the Soul, Inc. concluded that program was exemplary. “This program scored at the top on virtually all Analytical Criteria including Quality Of Staff, Student-Teacher interaction, and Curriculum,” said Serure. “It is a model program.” According to all studies, Jewish Education is a proven factor in ensuring Jewish involvement and continuity. See: www.ChabadChayil.org/build for updates! Transportation is provided for children coming from VABHOE (Virginia A. Boone Highland Oaks Elementary School) and Bridgeprep Academy in the Skylake section of Aventura’s North Miami Beach. - Resolving Tax Burdens and Building Community: Jesus Abikarram’s Lifetime Impact with Freedom Tax Resolution
Resolving Tax Burdens and Building Community: Jesus Abikarram’s Lifetime Impact with Freedom Tax Resolution By Austin Torres November 15, 2024 Share Jesus Abikarram, a distinguished professional and the owner of Freedom Tax Resolution, was recently honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Hallandale Beach Chamber of Commerce, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the tax industry and his commitment to leadership and community service. With over 31 years of experience in tax resolution, leadership development, and insurance brokerage, Jesus has built a reputation as a trusted advisor and leader in his field. Born with a deep sense of service, Jesus is not only a seasoned tax strategist but also an active member of the community. As a certified coach and speaker with the John Maxwell Team, he’s dedicated himself to empowering individuals and teams to reach their fullest potential. His work with organizations like Rotary International and the Chamber of Commerce exemplifies his philanthropic spirit and dedication to collective action for the greater good. Now, as we approach the end of the year, many individuals and businesses find themselves needing more than just tax preparation services—they need tax resolution. This is where Jesus and Freedom Tax Resolution shine, offering expert guidance and support for those facing tax challenges with the IRS. Jesus Abikarram is an expert on these matters. He holds certifications and licenses from the Stanford University Graduate School of business and has completed the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative-Education program, focusing on business scalability. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Security Management from John Jay College (CUNY) as well as an Associate in Applied Science degree in Computer Science from Monroe College. With his profound expertise, Jesus Abikarram and his team at Freedom Tax Resolution distinguish themselves as the ideal professionals to assist you with tax resolution. Unlike tax preparation, which focuses on filing accurate returns, tax resolution addresses existing issues with the IRS. Whether you’re dealing with unpaid back taxes, facing audits, or grappling with tax liens and levies, Jesus and his team at Freedom Tax Resolution can assist you in handling these complex situations by providing strategic solutions to get you back on track. For those who owe more than they can pay, Freedom Tax Resolution offers assistance with offers in compromise, allowing clients to settle their tax debt for less than the full amount owed. The team works closely with the IRS to negotiate the best possible outcomes, often presenting strong cases for clients who face financial hardship. Similarly, for clients who cannot pay their tax debt upfront, installment plans are a vital solution. Freedom Tax Resolution helps clients establish manageable plans that allow individuals to pay their debts gradually, making it easier to keep up with payments. Facing an IRS audit can be one of the most stressful experiences a taxpayer can encounter, but with audit representation, Jesus and his team take the lead, guiding clients through the process and advocating on their behalf. Their expertise ensures that all necessary documentation is prepared and that clients receive the best possible outcome. Additionally, for those dealing with serious financial hardships, Freedom Tax Resolution can help apply for currently not collectible status, which temporarily halts the IRS's collection actions, providing much-needed relief until circumstances improve. Freedom Tax Resolution also helps clients resolve issues with penalty abatement, assisting in cases where penalties have been accrued due to unpaid taxes. Whether the penalties arose from financial hardship, illness, or other reasonable causes, Jesus and his team work to reduce or eliminate these charges. Additionally, their services extend to more specific tax issues, such as innocent spouse relief, for individuals whose spouses or former spouses incurred tax liabilities without their knowledge, and tax lien removal, which helps clients regain control of their finances by resolving claims against their property. They also handle payroll tax debt relief, state tax relief, and assist with the resolution of wage garnishments or tax levy releases, offering comprehensive support for various tax challenges. As the year comes to a close, tax resolution becomes a pressing issue for many individuals and businesses. This is especially true for those who have faced financial hardships during the year and now need help addressing unpaid taxes. Waiting until tax season can often make matters worse, as interest and penalties continue to accrue. Jesus and the Freedom Tax Resolution team provide year-round support to ensure that their clients are never left facing the IRS alone. Whether it’s negotiating installment plans, stopping wage garnishments, or offering audit representation, they’re committed to finding the best possible solutions for each unique situation. Jesus Abikarram’s support is not limited to his leadership role at Freedom Tax Resolution. He is also a mentor and coach whose dedication to inspiring and uplifting the community is reflected in his exceptional track record and numerous accolades. What sets Freedom Tax Resolution apart is their comprehensive approach. While many tax firms focus solely on tax preparation, Freedom Tax Resolution offers both tax preparation and resolution services, ensuring that clients have support at every step of the process. Their expertise extends into specialized areas like payroll tax debt relief for business owners and state tax relief for those dealing with aggressive state tax agencies. As a distinguished Tax Resolution Specialist, Jesus Abikarram and his team are highly qualified to bring customers top-tier service. Freedom Tax Resolution’s dedication to excellence is further underscored by their commitment to customer service. Jesus and his team believe that transparency, communication, and empathy are key to navigating tax challenges. They work closely with clients, keeping them informed and involved throughout the resolution process. With a lifetime achievement award to his name and decades of experience, Jesus Abikarram remains a visionary leader in the field of tax resolution. His passion for helping others, combined with his technical expertise, makes him the go-to resource for individuals and businesses facing tax troubles. - Pedaling For a Purpose: Son Honors The Memory of His Mother
Pedaling For a Purpose: Son Honors The Memory of His Mother February 8, 2024 Share Under the early morning sun, Rob Adams pedaled his bike along a familiar path heading toward Treetops Park in Davie. The rhythmic whirl of the wheels beneath him provided a comforting soundtrack. But even in this meditative state, his thoughts were focused elsewhere – on his mother, Jean Adams, who left this world too soon, passing away from Throat Cancer in 2011. As he rode, memories of her flooded his mind. “I think a lot about her time working in real estate and living in South Florida. Together we watched the buildup of the county she was so heavily involved in,” said Adams. “She would be stunned by the amount of growth today.” Bicycling quickly became Adams’ solace, a way to connect with the memories of his mother, while also giving him the drive to prioritize his physical health. He pushed himself to go further, conquering every turn or extra mile just as Jean had faced challenges in her own life. “I look back at the toughness and determination my mom applied to her fight against cancer with awe. First tackling Breast Cancer and then the treatment for Throat Cancer. I tell my legs to ‘be quiet.’ This ride is nothing compared to that,” he said. One day, as Adams headed toward the airport in Miami Gardens, he discovered the roadways were flooded with thousands of bicyclists. Intrigued, he went home to research the event and discovered the bicyclists were participating in Dolphins Challenge Cancer (DCC), a year-round Cancer Initiative that culminates in their signature ride, run and walk fundraising event in support of Innovative Cancer Research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. DCC is a signature Miami Dolphins’ initiative and the leading fundraising event in the NFL. Fourteen years in, the DCC has raised more than $64 Million for Cancer Research through innovative science, leading-edge technology and personalized patient care. “I thought to myself ‘wow, what a cool way to take what I love doing, riding my bike, and to try to raise money in memory of my mom,’” said Adams. Nearly a decade later, Adams leads his company’s team in raising funds and awareness for Cancer Research through the DCC. As a captain of Florida Power & Light Company’s (FPL) team for the last five years and a participant for nine, he finds joy in sharing his mission with his coworkers, friends, family and community. “When you’re further along in your career like me, you start looking at how you’ll leave your legacy,” said Adams. “I’ve found great purpose in working with the Dolphins Challenge Cancer Event.” At work, Adams is no stranger to leadership. In the last 35 years with FPL, he’s held positions across the company from supervising power delivery field crews to running the systems that keep customers’ lights on. Today, he serves as a Senior Director of Power Delivery Technology. That leadership experience helped him lead his cycling team for DCC, which has raised nearly $1 Million in the last 11 years. “We believe that you don’t need to have cancer to fight cancer. Through the DCC's year-round initiative, we engage the South Florida community in the fight against a disease that impacts us all,” said Dolphins Challenge Cancer Executive Director Javier Sanchez. “It’s thanks to people like Rob Adams, FPL and the collective effort of all DCC participants that we are able to raise funds for innovative cancer research.” This year's DCC will take place February 24th at the Hard Rock Stadium. More than 80 riders and runners are gearing up to take part in the race as part of team FPL. “Too many of us have lost parents, relatives and friends to cancer,” said Adams. “Raising money for Cancer Research honors their memory and helps our community.” < Previous News Next News >

- Explore 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea: Voyage To The Deep at The Museum of Discovery & Science
Explore 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea: Voyage To The Deep at The Museum of Discovery & Science January 31, 2024 Share “Seas” the day and plunge into the mysteries of the ocean as Voyage to the Deep - Underwater Adventures makes a splash at the Museum of Discovery & Science (MODS) on January 26. Based on Jules Verne’s 1870 classic, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, this traveling exhibit brings to life the deep-sea adventures of Captain Nemo, his fantastical Nautilus submarine and the mythical world he inhabited. This exhibit, which runs through May 19, is presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. “MODS is thrilled to host Voyage to the Deep - Underwater Adventures, an interactive experience that combines STEM-based education, exploration and entertainment in an imaginative setting - the kind immortalized by Jules Verne’s novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas and celebrated in popular culture from Jacques Cousteau to the Octonauts,” said Joseph P. Cox, President and CEO of MODS. “The ocean covers more than 70 percent of the surface of our planet and we invite guests of all ages to dive into the wonders of its navigation while celebrating the enduring legacy of Verne's literary masterpiece.” Jules Verne penned 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas more than 150 years ago, yet the aquatic adventures of Captain Nemo and his Nautilus vessel continue to fascinate readers to this day. “At Flying Fish, we strive to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation, and this partnership with the Australian National Maritime Museum allows us to do just that. Through imaginative technology and masterful storytelling, this exhibit creates a multi-sensory experience that transports guests into a world where exploration and wonder merge seamlessly,” said Jay Brown, Principal and Managing Director of Flying Fish. At the heart of this extraordinary experience, guests will explore the gigantic Nautilus, an iconic vessel that has captured the imaginations of countless readers and moviegoers. Children and adults alike will have the opportunity to climb aboard this fantastical submersible, where they can delve into its inner workings, take command of its controls, peer through the periscopes, crank the propeller and even test out the bunks that housed Captain Nemo and his crew. Inside Captain Nemo's Cabinet of Curiosities, guests will encounter a trove of wondrous marine specimens, offering a glimpse into the extraordinary biodiversity that exists beneath the waves. Guests won’t want to miss the chance to play the bubbly pipe organ and explore the galley filled with curious and exotic foods that were part of the Nautilus crew's daily life. Designed to provide a range of immersive experiences, the exhibit includes full-body interactions, mechanical and electro-mechanical exhibits, interactive projections, touchscreens and more. “Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is proud to support the Museum of Discovery and Science and its mission to engage, empower and inspire our future generation of explorers, scientists, educators, authors and more,” said Caitlin Beck Stella, CEO of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. “With ocean activities comprising such a large part of South Florida’s allure, Voyage to the Deep - Underwater Adventures is the ideal exhibit for children and families in our community.” For more information about MODS’ Voyage to the Deep - Underwater Adventures, visit: https://mods.org/exhibit/voyage-to-the-deep-coming-soon/ - The traveling exhibit is produced by the Australian National Maritime Museum and toured internationally by Flying Fish.
