  • List Now while the market is hot

List Now while the market is hot July 28, 2021 Share Not every real estate professional targets his or her career to be known as a “concierge broker.” Twenty-plus years ago, when she first started out in real estate, that was the goal of Lonna Spitaleri, now founder/owner/broker of Costa Bella Realty Group in Hollywood. From the beginning, Lonna wanted to be recognized as a real estate sales professional, who could exceed her client’s expectations in delivering personalized service, whether the sale was small or monumental And she obviously succeeded. Lonna started her career as a sales associate with RE/MAX. During each of the eight years she was affiliated with that agency, she was awarded the 100% or Platinum Award as a Top Producer. Following that and just prior to founding Costa Bella Realty Group in 2016, Lonna had worked an additional eight years as a Broker Associate with another top real estate brokerage, where again, she consistently was cited as a Top Producer. Today, not only is Lonna the owner of a fine boutique real estate brokerage, but she has advanced her credentials with the designation of Certified Luxury Home Specialist, as well as some other specialized industry certifications. Lonna specializes in all types of properties that include: luxury homes, single family homes, condos and commercial properties. She serves as a buyer’s agent as well as a seller’s agent. Lonna and her agents assist clients with decision-making in properties under construction, relocations, waterfront properties, vacation homes and investment properties. She guides first-time home buyers by providing research on all applicable properties. Currently, her company Costa Bella Realty Group has 25 agents, personally selected by Lonna for their personality, attitudes and people skills. Besides English, Costa Bella Realty Group can offer professional service and expertise in Russian, Spanish, French, Creole and Italian. Under Lonna’s direction, each agent is groomed in sensitivity training to meet individual client needs and the expertise to follow through with a smooth transaction to the sale. Known as a boutique real estate brokerage, Costa Bella Realty Group has assisted clients in the buying and selling of residential and commercial properties ranging in every price range. Agents with Costa Bella have South Florida covered from north Miami-Dade through Palm Beach Counties. That includes 52 areas of preferred locations such as: Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Golden Beach, Hallandale Beach, Hollywood and the Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Hillsborough Beach, Boca Raton, Sea Ranch Lakes and Lighthouse Point, as well as Plantation, Davie, Cooper City and Coral Springs. The brokerage has also helped clients close on hotels and motels on Hollywood Beach and Downtown Hollywood. Costa Bella Realty Group is located at 330 North Federal Highway in Hollywood, in the same building as the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. “Being located so physically close to the Chamber has given us a wonderful opportunity to work with other professionals involved in the redevelopment of Downtown Hollywood and to help bring business and residents to the area,” says Lonna. “Hollywood is our home base and efforts to help make it bigger and stronger, is to everyone’s advantage,” she adds. Lonna keeps ahead of all trends, but is quick to point out that the major problem in real estate today, is a lack of inventory. “Everybody wants to move to Florida,” she says. They are coming down in droves and we do not have enough product to show them. People are outbidding the asking prices of homes here. That is definitely an area that we can guide our clients for the best results.” Having been a resident of South Florida for more than 50 years during which she raised her three children, Lonna now is able to take advantage of a fabulous South Florida lifestyle. Lonna continues to maintain ongoing relationships with her clients, updating them about changing market cycles and trends. This enables them to make real estate investment decisions for their families and themselves throughout the year. As a result of this unique personalized connection, Lonna Spitaleri remains one of the area’s top producers and sought-after real estate professionals. Lonna has received many 5-star commendations from buyers and sellers, noted for her knowledge of the market, comparable values for buying or selling and being in fine tune with her clients’ needs, goals, styles and preferences. “Right now, the market is hot and inventory is low,” says Lonna. She wants to remind homeowners that if they are considering selling their home any time soon, this is the time to list. “Costa Realty Group will be happy to provide a free market analysis of any property”, says Lonna, “to help list and sell it for the best possible price in this sizzling sellers’ market.” “Nothing is more exciting to me than the gratifying feeling I get from helping people with their real estate needs,” says Lonna. “I take pride in being informative, honest and trustworthy in helping people find their dream home or investment property at the best price or offer for their sale.” According to Lonna, this is where being a concierge broker comes in. “Every transaction, especially in this tumultuous South Florida real estate market, requires intense due diligence,” she says. “Too many people are just out to make the sell,” she adds. “Our goal is to understand the needs and create a satisfied client. Having a successful outcome for our clients, is the Costa Bella Group criteria for success. Their satisfaction is our success.” Lonna Spitaleri Costa Bella International Realty 954-921-2800 330 N. • Develop Your Culinary IQ in Hallandale Beach

Develop Your Culinary IQ in Hallandale Beach March 20, 2023 Share What’s your culinary IQ? That all depends upon how often you try new foods and cultural experiences. Your culinary IQ is the knowledge and appreciation you have for cuisine from all over the world. It reflects your capacity to recognize delicious from bland seasoning, high quality from low quality ingredients, creative from ordinary dishes, and chefs from cooks. With nearly 100 restaurants in just 4.6 square miles, the City of Hallandale Beach is the ideal place for developing your culinary IQ. Cuisine is one of the most treasured aspects of modern culture. It’s more than a national pastime: it’s a means for spending valuable family time, dating, social experiences with friends, and conducting business. If you can improve your culinary IQ, you can also improve the quality of these experiences by introducing your guests to things they will appreciate. Some restaurants are good for romance while others are good for fun. Some restaurants are better for stimulating discussions while others are more suited to quietude and relaxation. “Everything from fine dining to fast food and truly boutique restaurants are in our city limits,” says Dr. Jeremy Earle, City Manager and Executive Director of the Hallandale Beach Community Redevelopment Agency. “Hallandale Beach is an ideal city for anyone who wants to learn about food on an international scope.” When you exit I-95 at Hallandale Beach Blvd., kick it off with the best in Jamaican fare with Dunns River Island Café. Once you walk in, you will feel like you are in the Caribbean with the relaxing ambiance of Jamaica and Reggae backbeat. If Cuban food is your weakness Don Lolo’s Restaurant offers a wide variety of both Cuban and Mexican dishes. You can go lighter with Moises Bakery, which offers some of the finest Venezuelan bakery treats in all of Florida. Sample the delicious Empanadas from Venezuela, Chilé and Argentina. There is also Judy’s Bakery and Pastry shop, which is also a terrific family-style eatery where you can sit down and casually dine on Columbian-style fare. If you seek vegetarian, try the Krazy Vegan – a 100% plant-based gourmet burger joint that offers a variety of handcrafted burgers, sandwiches, and wings topped with their signature sauces. You don’t have to stay on the Blvd. Nestled just off it on NW 2nd Avenue is Chapultepec Mexican Bar & Restaurant, which has an amazing selection of homemade, fresh tacos, excellent Margaritas and more! For an American Classic: The Flashback Diner, which features a full, New York Style menu of sandwiches, entrees, salads, and desserts. Tucked away in an enclave in the shopping complex just off 14th Avenue is Il Mercato Cafe & Wine Bar, a European-style restaurant with a small, cozy, and intimate feel. Directly off the Blvd. you will also spot See Thai and Japanese Cuisine Restaurant where you can enjoy sushi and traditional Thai entrees with a variety of exotic sauces. As you head eastward, you will spot the Diplomat Mall Shopping Complex, which contains many superb restaurants. El Tayta Restaurant offers authentic Peruvian cuisine, Las Vegas Restaurant provides a full Cuban dining experience, Cilantro Asian Bistro is a fascinating blend of Thai and Japanese fare, and Piola serves up a complete pizza assortment. At the far east of the complex, don’t miss Matteo’s Restaurant and Bar for a true-to-form Italian fine dining experience. For a dining experience that includes the excitement of the racetrack, casinos, and shopping one can visit restaurants in Gulfstream Park. These include Ten Palms, Christine Lee's, Yard house, Upper Deck Ale, Bellyfish, and Pastry is Art. Hallandale Beach’s world-famous Pegasus statue provides a fitting entrance to this complete experience. If that doesn’t suit you, one can easily spend an entire week having breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Atlantic Village. From Argentinian to Israeli, Peruvian to Italian, Venezuelan to Asian, Burgers to Vegan, and Cigars to Juice Bars – it’s all here in one thoughtfully designed complex. No matter where you park your car in the lot, everything is right in front of you. Restaurants here include La Estancia Argentina, Holi Vegan Kitchen, Jaffa Israeli Kitchen, Crudos Fusion Art, The Blues Burgers, Doggi’s Arepa Bar, and 1st Place winner of the 2022 Hallandale Food and Groove Festival, Dr. Limon’s Ceviche Bar. At the far eastern side of the City, as you crossover the Intracoastal and reach the ocean’s edge, you will find Etaru Restaurant and Bar, which features contemporary Japanese robatayaki grill cuisine. The beach bar offers a more relaxed ambience with service directly to the beach. “But it doesn’t end there,” says Dr. Earle. “Some of the most exciting restaurants are scheduled to open later this year in the City’s burgeoning Food, Fashion, Art and Design District (FFADD) along NE 1st Avenue. These will include GoBistro, Kao Sushi Bar & Grill (the county’s first restaurant fashioned from shipping containers), Yosoy Marketplace, and a microbrewery. This collection of experiences will add to two already well-established restaurants: Icebox, EV Boost Juice Bar, and Ceviche Avenue.” Dr. Earle also noted that the City will be offering a free electric mini-cart transport (“FreeBee”) service that will circulate people throughout the FFADD to several pick-up points including two new parking lots which are being developed at this time. Such will provide an all-inclusive dining circuit for residents and tourists alike. “Our restaurants are the gems of this City,” says Dr. Earle. “They provide the foundation for the exciting future that awaits Hallandale Beach – as a place where people not only enjoy themselves but gain exposure to tastes, aromas, and sights of international cuisine and culture.” < Previous News Next News >
