2021 SPARK Hollywood, FL Pitch Competition

Help Shape the Future of Hollywood's Marina Master Plan! Be a part of the First Round of Public Input Sessions and let your voice be heard!

The City of Hollywood Office of Communications, Marketing and Economic Development has partnered with the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to present the annual SPARK Hollywood, FL Pitch Competition featuring entrepreneurs and new ventures competing for cash and in-kind prizes by giving a three-minute presentation of their innovative business proposal to a panel of judges composed of local investors and business professionals.

In addition to the main competition, the event will feature keynote speaker, Imran Siddiqui​, Associate Vice President of BC Eduventures and BCEx of Broward College. Judges for the contest include Scott Lefkowitz, Seed Investor at Las Olas Venture Capital; Sandy-Michael McDonald, Director of the Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development; John Wensveen, Chief Innovation Officer at Nova Southeastern University and Executive Director for the Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation; and Sarah Lucas, Chief Operating Officer at New World Angels.

The pitch competition takes place on Thursday, October 14th at 5:00 p.m. via Zoom and you can register here to watch for free.
