Justice Skatepark Ribbon Cutting

The City of Hollywood will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the $790,000 renovation of Justice Skate Park at Stan Goldman Park, located at 800 Knights Road, Hollywood, Florida 33020. The event is scheduled for this Friday, August 22nd at 5:00 p.m. and the public is encouraged to attend.

The skatepark recently reopened following a series of upgrades that have quickly become popular with local skaters. New features include quarter pipes, double-sided curbs, ledges, and other enhancements that have brought new energy to the park. Since reopening, the skatepark has seen steady use from skaters eager to enjoy the improvements.

The facility is named in memory of Justice Chin, a beloved community advocate who dedicated his time and passion to supporting the skateboarding community and championing improvements at the park. His efforts left a lasting mark on Hollywood and continue to inspire skaters and residents alike.

The ceremony will include light refreshments and an opportunity to celebrate both the completed renovations and Justice Chin’s enduring legacy in the community.

Adult 7-on-7 Flag Football League

Looking for some Flag Football fun come to the Washington Park Community Center Football Fields at 5199 Pembroke Road, Hollywood, Florida 33023 every Wednesday night from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
