"This camp is more than just about teaching theater skills," says Nina Felice, the Founder of The Performance Project School of the Arts and a former professional actress. "It's about nurturing creativity, building confidence, and fostering a love for the arts that can last a lifetime."

One of the highlights of the camp is the opportunity for campers to prepare and perform in a full-scale theatrical production. Each session culminates in a grand finale where campers showcase their talents on stage. This year, audiences can look forward to productions like Aladdin Kids, Legally Blonde The Musical, Jr., 101 Dalmatians Kids, and Newsies Jr., promising a diverse range of experiences that cater to different age groups and interests.

"From the magical adventures of Aladdin to the empowering journey of Legally Blonde, these productions are chosen not just for their entertainment value, but also for the valuable lessons they impart," explains Felice. "Theater has a unique ability to teach empathy, teamwork, and resilience – qualities that are invaluable both on and off stage."

Summer Theater Camp 2024 is not just about rehearsals and performances.
