Live Music, Drink Specials, Interactive Classes & More: A Innovative Asian Food Hall and Market Located in the Heart of Pembroke Pines
June 6, 2024
Opened December 2023, Baoshi is the innovative Asian food hall, bar, and market located in the heart of Pembroke Pines, that brings together a curated local Asian market with exotic snacks, candies, and sodas; five distinct food vendors; and a stylish cocktail bar and lounge – all under one roof. Activated seven days a week, Baoshi’s bar offers guests an extensive list of craft cocktails, Japanese whiskeys, sakes, draft beers, live music, interactive mixology classes, and specialty programming. Carefully curated by Beverage Director Sasha Cabrera, the bar program at Baoshi reflects the food hall’s themes of variety and diversity while incorporating Asian influences.
“Crafting the perfect bar team was essential. Not only did they need to create the one-of-a-kind cocktails I designed to perfectly complement the robust flavors of our food hall's dishes, but they also had to bring their unique personalities to the table,” explains Cabrera. “This was crucial in fostering genuine connections with our guests, infusing our space with vibrant energy, and ensuring unforgettable experiences for everyone who walks through our doors. We have only been open a few months, and we already have guests who return just to see specific bartenders. Because of this, we’ve created a special section on the menu called, Bartender Favorites, showcasing our talented bartenders.”
Baoshi’s bar shines as an elevated after-work, date night, or late-night destination where guests can gather to sip expertly-crafted cocktails and enjoy the lively atmosphere. Specialty cocktails incorporate Japanese spirits and sakes as well as ingredients including lychee and dragon fruit. The Coco Yen is carefully blended with Soto Sake, Butterfly Cannon Tequila, coconut cream, lemon juice, and agave; and the Soto my Toto offers a refreshing twist with 135 East Gin, Soto Sake, mint, lime juice, simple syrup, and soda water. For a more tropical cocktail, the Forbidden Pitaya combines Yuzu Sake, Stella Rosa, Tropical Randy, lime juice, and dragon fruit; and the GemstoneTini – a perfectly-made lychee martini crafted with Haku Vodka, Soho Lychee, Liqueur, lychee puree, lime juice, and agave. New to the menu are the Bartender Favorites, a small everchanging menu featuring each bartender's preferred creation and it even offers off-menu specials if you ask. Highlights include Maraja’s Paradise, made with Stella Rosa, peach schnapps, strawberry puree, and pineapple juice; Brii’s Angel, with Angels Envy, blackberry, peach schnapps, lemon juice, and ginger beer and Jesse’s Girl - Woodford Reserve, muddled strawberries, lemon juice, dash of bitters, and mint.
