Hallandale Beach P.A.L.: Expanding Opportunities for our local youth

The Kiwanis Club of Hallandale Beach continues to support the Police Athletic and Activities League and Kiwanis member and P.A.L. Program Director, Jon-athan Carrillo is quite grateful for our financial support sustaining his programs.

At a recent meeting The Hallandale Beach Police and Activities League sported its new logo. The Kiwanis Club of Hallandale Beach members pictured (L-R) include George Mutlos (Club Recording Secretary), Steve Cummings, Ken Cohan (PAL Director), Katie Lizana (Club President) and Al Lipson.

Kiwanian member Richard Quadracci recently received a prestigious award as the Out-standing Corporate supporter of P.A.L within the State of Florida through his charitable foundation and Carrillo is pleased that not only with the flourishing participation in his athletic programs, but the recent highly acclaimed anti bullying program hosted at Gulfstream Academy coordinated by Kenny Cohan.

In these trying times due to the pandemic and cutbacks in funding of many citywide programs, the Hallandale Beach Police Athletic and Activities League has been expanding opportunities for our local youth to participate in.
