Get Ready For The Egg Scramble: Sunny Isles Beach Has Created A Fantastical World Of Curious Wonders

Get ready for this year’s unforgettable Egg Scramble extravaganza! Follow your neighbors down the rabbit hole to a fairytale garden with enchanting activities, delightful treats, and a fantastical world of curious wonders. Search far and wide for over 20,000 colorful eggs! Don’t be late for this important date – a Wonderland of surprises awaits.

About the Egg Hunt:
When: Saturday, March 23rd from 10:00 a.m. – 2 PM
Where: Pelican Community Park, 18115 North Bay Road
Egg Hunt Ages: 0-3, 4-8, 9-12
Egg Hunt Times: Egg hunt will begin at 10:15 a.m. and will end at 10:30 a.m.

Egg Hunt Locations:
0 – 3 years old: Pelican Community Park Multipurpose Room
4 – 8 years old: Pelican Community Park Baseball Field First Base Line
9 – 12 years old: Pelican Community Park Baseball Field Third Base Line

After your scramble, stick around and challenge your adventurous side with amusement rides, and use the luck of your rabbit’s foot to create some really fun crafts. Come ready to sniff out all the yummy snacks available for purchase.

Wristband Pickup:
Wristbands are required for all guests to gain entry to the event. Wristbands are available to purchase online and in-person at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, Pelican Community Park or Gateway Center. If purchasing your wristbands online, they may be picked up at the above-mentioned facilities prior to Saturday, March 23rd. You may also pick up your wristbands at the event, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on 182nd Drive.

Make sure you have your wristbands now, so you are prepared when the egg hunt begins on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. sharp.

Wristbands are $5 for active Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID Cardholders and $20 for Non-Residents. Children under two years old are FREE; however, they still need a wristband to enter the event. The Pre-purchase Price is $20 and they are $25 the day of the event. The Resident ID Cardholder’s Special Pre-Purchase Price is: $5 and at the event: $10.

Wristbands are required for all guests to gain entry to the event.

Parking:
Event parking will be available in the Norman S. Edelcup/Sunny Isles Beach K-8 Parking Garage, along Atlantic Boulevard, and at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center. Ride the SIBShuttle and receive a special bunny plushie, while supplies last. The SIBShuttle provides FREE Transportation within Sunny Isles Beach.

Road Closures:
181st Drive will be closed on Saturday, March 23rd from 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Resident-ONLY Traffic will be permitted between Atlantic Boulevard and the road closure barricades to access residential units along 181st Drive.

182nd Drive will be closed starting Friday, March 22nd from 9:00 p.m. through Saturday, March 23rd at 4:00 p.m.

Park Closures:
The Pelican Community Park will be closed on Saturday, March 23rd for Event Preparation and the Gymnasium at Pelican Community Park will be closed for the Egg Scramble on Friday, March 22nd and Saturday, March 23rd. The Gymnasium will reopen for Regular Hours on Sunday morning, March 24th.

The Baseball Field at Pelican Community Park will be closed for the Egg Scramble beginning Friday, March 22nd through Saturday, March 23rd. The Baseball Field will reopen for Regular Hours of Operation on Sunday, March 24th.
