August 18, 2022

What is a Broward Center Teen Ambassador? The Broward Center Teen Ambassadors are a group of twenty-four high school students that work with the Broward Center for the Performing Arts to share their passion for the performing arts and encourage other young people to experience the offerings at The Broward Center and its affiliated venues, The Parker Playhouse and the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center.

Once the Ambassador's are selected they will have the chance to attend and review Broadway and Off-Broadway Shows, Classical Music Concerts, Jazz Concerts, Operas, Dance and Family Shows in order to share their unique perspective. They will also have the opportunity to learn about the business of the Performing Arts and get a glimpse behind the scenes of what it takes to put on a show.

As an added benefit High School students can earn Community Service Hours as a Broward Center Teen Ambassador. So if you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Teen Ambassador, The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is now accepting applications from high school students interested in Arts, Journalism and Marketing to join its 2022/2023 Broward Center Teen Ambassador Program.
